NYC bear lunch group at Grand Hyatt

Guys, before COVID there were regular groups at the Grand Hyatt in midtown Manhattan. They were arranged by an email list. Anyone know if these are still happening?

Who decides if one is a bear? Is there a test, a panel of judges, or is it simply something one declares about himself? I assume hairiness is a prerequisite, but then, if I knew I wouldn't be positing questions!

I'm guessing they also allow fans of bears? And if your pic is you (or a close approximation), I'll hang out with you even if they won't
