>That made me wonder. Escorts, what's been the most unusual

>method of payment that you've experienced?

Ok, There were more..here are a few.

1. Wireless Laptop (still working this off)

2. Gift Certificate to Barney's NY (regifted)

3. Coffee (manager traded 15 bags)

4. 15 DVDs

5. 2 Tickets to a Broadway show (actor was in)

6. 250 dollars worth of gifts at a local gift shop.

7. Plane ticket (Someone used their frequent flyers)

The reason I did this was so that people could somehow still afford me even though they didnt have the money. I have to pay for stuff anyways....I am waiting on a dentist to give me free dental work.

I know...sad but true.

>Casino Chips

That's actually sorta cool, assuming you were in a casino hotel at the time. (Not particularly useful in a small town in Idaho!)

>Probably not all that unusual

Probably not, but it's sorta creative and definitely adds to the discretion plate. Swing by the cashier and the smiling (or not) cashier will hand over as many bills as it takes with no question whatsoever.

It's one of the things that's just perversely RIGHT about places like Vegas. Nobody ever asks where you got the money.

It was here in New Orleans. The amusing part of the story is that upon receiving said chips I decided to take a side-trip out to Biloxi. Of course, had I actually thought about it, I'd have taken the chips to the casino from which they came!

PS: I love BlackJack & slot machines, but I suck (no pun intended) at other gambling.

I once accepted bottles of wine from a wine distributor as payment. We worked it out in advance. The retail value of the wine was twice my rate. Only problem is - I don't drink wine. I still have the bottles. I was told to wait 3-4 years before opening and to serve with a big thick steak. It could be colored water for all I know.
