Tit piercing

I posted this message in the Fetish Forum, but it's possible that the real experts may be the pros, so I'm placing it here as well.

 

Has anyone here had his nipple or nipples pierced? I would appreciate it if you could share your experience. I'm thinking of getting my tit pierced and need to know more about it, both the piercing itself, and more import, the result. And I confess that I'm pretty ignorant on the topic. If anybody knows where I can get more info on this, either on the internet, in a book, or through some organization, please direct me to that info. Here are a few of my basic questions.

 

- Does it increase or decrease sensitivity?

- Can you still receive heavy titwork?

- How long does it take to heal and for how long in the healing process does pain or discomfort continue?

- Is it a hassle to keep the piercing clean?

- Once its healed, is there still a risk of infection? For example, can you still get your tits sucked?

- Does the piercing close up if you remove the titring for a period of time?

 

I'm sure that experiences vary from person to person, (and no doubt from tit to tit), but any info or experiences you guy can share would be welcome. (But please don't turn this into a silly, catty flame as my interest in this topic is genuine.)

I had mine pierced for my 40th birthday. It only hurt for a second or two. It wasn't too difficult keeping it clean during healing; just stand in the shower and let the water soften and wash away the exudate. Apply plenty of Betadine. It did make that nipple less receptive to rougher play, but it was more sensitive in a different way (if that makes sense). I left it in for about 8 years; took it out when I needed an MRI. I procastinated putting in back in, and within a week, the hole was closed up.

It increased mine. Before guys would lick/touch/play my nipples -- nothing. Now.......hhhmmm!

I'm not into heavy tit work.

Mine were fine by the next day. There was only inital discomfort when they were pierced (but I have a high threshold for pain). There was no subsequent pain or discomfort

I clean mine whenever I shower. I rotate the rings and wash with soap and water.

I suppose there is. A friends nipple became inected long after the original piercing. Doc prescribed antibiotics and it cleared up.

Yes. I also have had an MRI and X-rays, requiring me to remove them. After a week the holes closed up and I had to have them re-pierced. After another time I had to remove them, I had them replaced three hours after they were removed. I had no problem then.

I had my right nip peirced before I started escorting. The first few days it was very sensitive but didn't really hurt, unless one of my knotheaded friends thought it woud be funny to yank on it.

 

I had it for almost 7 years. I went through about six peices of jewelry before I realized I didn't like the way it looked anymore and took it out for good.

 

Before that nip was considerably less sensitive than the left one. Now, they're both sensitive, but as someone mentioned above, they are different.

 

Would I get it re-peirced? Who knows. I always said I'd never get a tatoo and now I get to play "Find Ted's Tattoo" with my clients.

In my case it INCREASED sensitivity big time.

Mine was extremely tender for 24 hours. Couldn't even sleep.

It ached for a week. Didn't let anyone touch it for a few weeks.

At one month I was finally beginning to not think I was insane for having done it.

First few months required twice daily care.

After that it's pretty much soap and water in the shower and you're fine.

It can occasionally get infected.

The key is to clean it well with Betadine after getting it sucked on and/or played with.

Had mine for over 10 years and never dreamed of taking it out.

 

Overall, I'm very happy with my nip piercing. Like all good things in my life it requires very little maintaince and brings me a great deal of pleasure. There is nothing better than messing around with a guy who KNOWS it's connected straight to your cock. Surprisingly most guys never even go near it. I mean it's there for a reason guys!

 

I got mine peiced in the East Village...when it was the East Village.

A hot very young, and inexperienced, straight punk boy was being surpervised by another very heavily peirce guy in his thirties.
