rentmen chat history

hey wasn't sure where to post this.  But a few years a go I deactivated my rentmen account and I'm just noticing I lost all my chat history before that.  My question is,  if I chatted with an escort before my deactivation, do THEY still see our chat history even though I don't?  Or is it deleted for them also?

Depends on how far back a "few years is"...
My chat history does show exchanges with currently deactivated profiles but it only reaches back to September 2020.

I just checked my chats and they only go back to July 2020.

Let's nuke the instant messaging... let's go back to either phone or email instead of messages like "hi", etc. by IM

Depends... did you delete for good your account or simply didn't use it for a while?

I deleted it and then reactivated it a few months later.

I think it's gone for good. Whenever by accident I almost click on "delete account" there's a warning saying it can't be undone. Sorry!

I still have my account - I got that back.   Just wondering if providers still see our old chats.

I went back and looked at some of my RM messenger chat with providers......goes back to February, 2020.....there are several providers who have apparently canceled their profiles (not just "expired" or "frozen") and I can still see our chat from back then......so it seems very likely that your old chat under your old profile may still be visible to the other person......

In a related question, I wonder if I delete a thread with a provider, does it disappear on his end too? Or vice versa - if he deletes a thread with me, would I know it or still see it on my end?

No, If you delete a thread it doesn't delete the other party's copy.  I think they can see it even if you block them, they just can't send you new messages.

Considering the amount of chatting they do I guess most of them just delete them.
