Hi I am a newbie in this forum, introducing myself a bit:

guy in his early 30s, fit/muscled, not bad looking. Have been fantasized about sex travel and pay for service (especially the latino muscle god hunk type). is Rio de Janeiro entirely not possible??......there are two or three good "saunas" (legal brothels) over there....look for other threads on those here in the (correct) subforum!......

yes, some/most hotels frown on locals/non-guests going up to guestrooms.....ID may be required......airbnb makes things much easier......some airbnb buildings have a doorman who's usually fine with guests as long as you're present.......

I’ve always stayed in hotels on numerous visits to Latin America. I like having the hotel services and getting extra towels, clean sheets etc whenever I need them (and Yes, the local housekeepers really appreciate getting tips - especially in dollars).

I’m not sure why some guys dislike registering their guests at Reception. I’ve never had a problem doing that; if traveling alone, I just book a room for 2. I feel it’s good security too in that Reception checks the guy’s ID (so you know he’s of legal age) and it avoids potential problems of robbery etc. If you’re nervous about taking a guy back to your room, then consider using a sex-hotel (or ‘telo’ in BA) for a first date. Gays and heterosexuals use sex-hotels readily. 
 

I can’t comment on SP but there is a useful generalization that Argentines like to talk a lot about sex while Brazilians like to have a lot of sex. (It was first told to me by a young blond Argentine). So in BA be prepared to chat to an attractive  guy, invite him for coffee or a drink etc. I found it was easy to meet attractive guys on the street, in dance-clubs but the best place was in the gym (Megatlon being seen as ‘upmarket’ and the branch in Alta Palermo Shopping, a popular mall, was quite cruisy).

Yes. I met guys there (but did not have sex there). Also I’ve encountered guys on the street, much to my initial surprise. 
 

I’ve heard of that sex-party but not been. I was told it’s your demographic @cotedeazur (guys who are 30-35 and in good shape) but FWIW I was told there was a lot of barebacking.

I do not know when you last visited Espaca (Lagoa) in Sao Paulo.  Based on what you wrote, I think you have not been there recently. 

Whether the poster is fit or not I believe he would be impressed with the selection of garotos on most days at that sauna in Sao Paulo.  

I have not been there since January but I am scheduled to return to Sao Paulo in the middle of April. 

According to my Brazilian friends, Lagoa is more crowded on Wednesday and Monday than it formerly was when Lagoa first moved to its current location.  My friends think the reason for more clients and garotos on Monday and Wednesday is the low entrance fees that clients (and garotos) like.  

I visit Brazil a lot and I keep in contact with several Brazilians.  This is why I must update the incorrect information you wrote, I am sure, in good faith. 

Based on a phone call I received from Brazil yesterday, Monday and Wednesday at Lagoa (as of late) were quite busy with many clients and handsome garotos. 

My friend said that on Mondays, instead of paying the regular entrance fee of R$65, it is R$40.  I do not recall what he said the fee is on Wednesday but it is less than the R$65 Friday entrance fee. 

While Friday is a busy night at Lagoa with its R$65 entrance fee, Monday and Wednesday also have quite a nice crowd for a lesser entrance fee.
