I’ve heard this story of hiring a provider and paying him $600 for an overnight. That’s considered just a nice tip at that point. 

This is about time. Regardless of activity (wild night full of sex, drugs or simply a night of cuddling and kissing), this is still their time and they are entitled to charge as they see fit.
