SPOILER ALERT!

Wouldn't it be fun if Chris hit it off with Nigel?

I can't believe I just noticed that Oz on high potential is played by the same actor who plays Chris on ghosts.

I’ve noticed that Elsbeth 2×18 is titled “I Know What You Did Thirty-Three Summers Ago” while Ghosts 4×20 is similarly titled “I Know What You Did Thirty-Seven Summers Ago” — and they both air the same night (April 24).

This doesn’t seem like a coincidence, and obviously the shows cannot crossover, but is there a reason for them to match? Or am I reading too much into things? -  Marvin

TV LINE:  That is a very fun coincidence, though I am told by CBS it is merely that -a fun coincidence

Considering that the show at its best is actually kind of sweet and a bit touching, I expected Trevor's big discovery to be a better episode.  I thought it was 'meh'.

The actress who played his daughter is the sister of Stephanie (the attic ghost).

Maybe there's some connection to this summer's remake of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

I Know What You Did Last Summer: Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. With Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui...

I must admit I found this episode disappointing.  Really think it would have played better if he had a son.  Second, He seemed less emotionally involved than I think would be the reaction of finding out this knowledge.  They may be dead physically but they definitely are not dead emotionally and the way this episode played out, it really appeared that Trevor's emotions were on life support.

Interesting that the give the attic ghost girl a major story line and it seems that would have been a good opportunity to have her sucked off after the reveal.  Also the reveal  could have been done better.  Perhaps even have the daughter come in from the car and have a line revealing here Stephanie like behavior and then have the parents call her by her name and Stephanie realizing that they really did care about her.  That would lead to her being sucked off.

It's too bad Stephanie wasn't awake the week before, or she could have seen that Trevor's daughter is her sister.

Sam, this is a show about a woman and now also a man who can see ghosts after having had head trauma.  The ghosts are needy and constantly raising personal issues which always seem to take priority.  The whole premise is "dumb".  Either you buy into the characters and their antics, or you do not.  Your tolerance for the premise may have waned, but the show is not any dumber than it ever was.  I do see where you may think the writers are mailing it in.  They are expanding the universe of ghosts which is probably a mistake.  You need to care about the ghosts to care about their issues.  Bringing in more ghosts only creates a new ghost problem of the week.

The writing was clever and funny in past seasons but it has been dreadful this season and each ghost has seemingly been given an opportunity to be really annoying at some point. It used to be the first show I'd watch each week when I caught up with what I had recorded; now it's usually the last.

I just do not think it has jumped the shark yet, but I believe the best shows are the ones in which an unexpected reveal from their living lives catches you by surprise.  I agree that some things, like Thor's love of talking about decapitating Danes has gotten tiresome. Move on.  Think it would be interesting if it turns out he was not abandoned.  Perhaps he discovered that his wife had been unfaithful and that he chose not to return home.  That he built a life alone or maybe not alone before dying.
