Actually yes, that reviewer accused Miguel to take his money and run. The review is constructed in a weird way, it's quite unclear what/how it happened.

I cannot say that it's not true, I wasn't there, but I have seen Miguel I think 5 times in few years, and I never had an issue like that. He tends to rush a bit his sessions, but if you like a dominant masculine passionate top with a great body and quite a big chorizo, I definitely recommend him. My standard rates are

300/1hr, 500/2hr, 700/3hr, 900/4hr, 1200/Overnight.

I always ask all clients what they want to do in a session before confirming an appointment. If the session is simple or less strenuous I will come down to 250 if I think it's fair. If a client wants to worship My feet or My body and massage Me for 1 hour while I lay on the couch, I come down no problem. 

 

If I am showing up in full gear & going to be doing bondage, S&M + a fast, hard, & long Topping--its 300 firm

If a client balks right before we are about to seal the deal because 300 is too high--or he says "I have 250 is that OK?" I will 8 times out of 10 come down VS not get the session. 

What's super interesting is that I used to charge $200/hour for sessions that were BDSM ONLY. I probably still would except I haven't gotten one of those in a while. Back when I first started, guys would ask for a session that was just heavy paddling, caning, flogging, spanking & just whipping his ass until he had marks on his back. Nothing sexual. I would do $200 for them as I felt it was fair if there was no sex; and probably just because I love BDSM so much 😜

If you are looking for a $200/hr provider; as someone said earlier on this thread---your best bet would be to book a session with a provider that is a multi-hr or long session in which the hourly rate averages out to $200. The more hours you book the better deal you get. Shit, My SleepOver overnights are 12 hours & they cost $1,200. That's $100/hr. I charge extra TBD for the all-night hardcore overnights where we don't sleep, but that's 12 straight hours of play--$1,500.

I don't know what to say if you're looking for a $200/hr escort in NYC & you want only 1 hour. Be careful--if the price is too good to be true-it probably is; & you get what you pay for. You might get a very new novice escort who is charging only 200 & that comes with all the headaches of an inexperienced guy. You also might get catfish, scammed or robbed as often those people will make fake ads with a low price to snake in as many as possible. Then a completely different guy shows up & starts video taping your face or threatens exposure, blackmail etc. I've had a few clients who had that happen to them in the past on RentMen, and often the price was unusually low. 

Maybe in a different part of the country you can find the low rate you want as a standard, but NYC is the complete opposite.

Yeah as others have said $300 is pretty much the standard rate in most major cities. In some cases you might find around the $200-250 rate from an experienced provider but either thats for an incall, or the guy is heavily booked and takes a lot of clients. Most providers I've booked are usually in the $250 range, but while I'm in a major city it's nothing like New York City or Los Angeles. 

I've had success with RM providers that are also on Grindr. In those cases the provider quoted a lower rate vs. their RM rate. I recenty made a profile on Seeking (with my picture) and get notifications daily of guys sending me messages, but I'll have to pay that $99 membership to get access to my msgs.

i actually don't find this logic to work ... i have a buddy in atlanta who charges $280/hr for a massage and $450 for escorting. he is goodlooking but not a famous porn actor and not especially interesting in the menu department.  when he came to NYC to visit, he couldn't figure out why no one was calling him, and i told him it was the pricing - because there are A LOT MORE escorts in nyc .... hundreds or thousands. 

Yes, there are more clients and the cost of living plays a part, but if you're in a smaller city and good at it, you can actually charge more.

It really depends on provider, how good that days mood is and how young or good looking you are. Providers are human beings and they have good or shitty days as well. DON'T. They are all fake accounts sending you messages that quickly pile up to make you feel like you're missing out and when you pay and start opening the messages you see that most of those SB profiles don't exist anymore. More likely fake accounts created and messages sent by SA staff. And after that sour experience you still have to deal with time-wasters, flakes, and the undecided or inexperienced. Another reason why I left and I'm completely out of SA, FOREVER.

Good to know. After seeing this I checked the profiles attached to the messages I was getting. Low and behold at least 5 of the accounts are deleted and no longer active. I'm not even going to waste my time. I tried updating my profile blurb for people to contact me via my email but an hour later I got a message from SA stating thats not allowed and I have to remove it.

Isn't this they guy who use to go by PRMiguel?  They certainly look like his pics.  He was by and large a very, very highly regarded top.  There are several threads about him.  From everything ever said about him, I would doubt the negative review, but stranger things have happened.  All the rest of his reviews are five star, and the comments range from positive to ecstatic.

I think you can def. get a provider to average a $200/hr call if you book multiple hours or even an overnight.  As Rand mentioned it helps to be respectful, polite and kind........you know the same way we want to be treated.   Each provider is different and may or may not agree based on how busy he is.
