Hi,

I’ve never hired an escort, but I’m interested to. I’m paranoid of every profile being fake, and legal repercussions. Is that something that happens often? And what’s the best way to be sure I’m definitely talking to a real person that isn’t trying to arrest me? As a disclaimer, I would never do anything illegal.

It does not happen often, is my understanding - law enforcement has higher priority things to do.  Use a burner number for your communications.  Stick with known escorts that are well reviewed (use the search box on this forum once you have somebody in mind and see what folks say about him). During your discussion (usually text message) be respectful but choose your words carefully and do not be explicit.  When you meet him for the first time - meet him in a public place (like a Starbucks) and see what vibe you get.

Keep this mind:  Never, EVER talk money and sex in the same sentence.  And, NEVER, EVER, under any circumstances pay upfront.  Pay when the job is done.

good advice above....

I was so nervous about a LE bust at my first meet with a provider that I was physically dizzy......it all went fine, but stick with a well-regarded guy mentioned here in the forums as reliable.....that'll take a ton of stress off you......don't meet with anybody not approved by us!!

politely tell the provider you'll pay at the end and you don't want to talk money at the meet.....then ask if he's ok with that arrangement......but have the money ready before he arrives so you aren't awkwardly counting out bills at the end....tip a little if you want......

keep pre-meet planning to a minimum, but get the essential stuff hammered out.....don't get gushy and text him repeatedly with silly "can't wait!" messages......

at the meet, firm handshake, talk slowly, look him in the eyes, smile, respect him, don't get too personal (but you can talk about more than the weather!)......

communicate, communicate, communicate!

move things along so you get what you want out of the meet before times up....."hey, how about we start with a massage?"....I usually end up being the clock watcher, not the provider!

don't take it too seriously......enjoy the time, then move on with your life......(i.e. don't fall in love!).......but send a quick "great time!" text after

Welcome @Cflorc. You've received some good advice already, but here is some more. First, find a handful of ads that you find attractive. Then, search for the provider here and if you don't find a thread about one just ask.

This is why we have the forum. For the first time especially (and probably for a while) really only go with a guy who is very well vetted by the crew on here. Search the name...probably something has come up before with some information. If not, well that is a sign that the guy either changes his name a lot or he's relatively new to escorting, both yellow flags for a newbie.

Just go for someone with a good reputation and lots of solid, positive reviews. Don't be afraid to PM a few guys too if you want more details. Doing that pre-vetting beforehand will save you a lot of hassle. The good ones truly make this hobby easy.

Don't want to rain on your parade but hiring an escort is illegal most places.
