How many of you have trouble hearing masked people?

I find that when I lean in to listen more closely, people will get the message and just lower their mask so I can hear them

Personally, while my hearing checks out fine, I struggle to understand people when I can’t see their lips…

Masks seems to muffle the sound. Sometimes I find it takes a few seconds for me to comprehend what the person said. I don't have any hearing issues when a person does not wear a mask.  Speech and comprehension takes a little longer when someone wears a mask.
