Custom Titles Requests

For users who are viewing this site via a non-mobile device, you might have started noticing titles showing up under a person's member group.  They look something like:

These are custom titles that can be given by administrators.  If you would like a custom title to appear similar to above, feel free to comment your preference.  I'll tack it into your profile for you.  

Also, it's possible to add unicode images to titles.  This means symbols such as emoji and other similar things can be included.

Examples of unicode images can be found at https://unicode-table.com/

An example of a title with unicode might be something like:

Right now there are like 3 used, including my own.  So more than likely it's not used elsewhere.

or maybe without the unicode if the title goes over one row.

Don't know where to ask this but how does one make a title of a new thread in bold letters? My attempts have failed. The bold function only seems to apply to words in the thread, not to the title (see my most recent attempt with my new Covid thread in Politics).

Well when your post is “unread” the title is in bold font to those who haven’t read it yet. Goes out of bold once user has read it.

Might be confusing if a thread title were allowed to be all bold all the time?

I remember seeing titles at the bottom of every single post but one accidental click made them disappear. How to bring them back?

Titles appear below a person's avatar.  For example, my title is "Fixer of Broken Things".  

If you are referring to content at the bottom of posts, I assume you mean a member's signature.  

You should be able to re-enable signatures from within your account settings.  A direct link is:

https://www.companyofmen.org/settings/signature/

One of the options there is to enable the viewing of signatures.
