For many years I have attended the Folsom Street Fair, starting back when it was a relatively small event. One complaint many of us had was that only old men with saggy butts wore chaps, but that is no longer true. Yesterday's event, viewed by some 400,000 people, was the most erotic yet. Cute guys with bare butts was only the beginning of it.

This year, many guys were walking around with their genitals exposed, and some very cute ones wore chaps with nothing underneath. Several bold guys were completely naked, including the usual exhibitionists with tired old bodies but now including some real hunks. One cutie getting his photo taken in the buff got progressively harder as the photographer clicked away.

There were many spanking and kink booths featuring men and women, and the local bars had huge lines to gain entrance. After awhile, one could hardly move and the idea of more flesh seemed less appealing, but the more people drank, the less they wore.

Porn stars were abundant, including many Titan men, and Campus Montreal dancer Pierre Fitch. The slide show of pics available here http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/object/article?o=27&f=/c/a/2008/09/29/BAVP137PGV.DTL cannot compete with my private videos that I will probably spend hours watching!

Folsom Street Fetish Fair

I went with friends, we found it entirely too crowded - and left after about 1 hour.

As Lucky pointed out there was some eye candy, but many of the participants should have kept their clothes ON. One of the booths was labeled "Human Urinal", it was so crowded you couldn't view what was being displayed.

Will also bet there were many folks waking up with sunburned penises yesterday, wondering how many made it into work.

Interesting pics but they only hint at what was no doubt the main attraction - naked men.

Does anyone have an address for the more provocative pictures?

Pierre Fitch, the sometime Campus dancer, lives in my neighbourhood and shops at the same grocery store that I frequent. I once had him dance for me. Nice to see he is getting around!:p

Thanks, Lucky, for beginning this thread. Although I have yet to attend the FOLSOM STREET FAIR, my thoughts and sentiments were there. I am glad that you presented something about this event.

You are welcome, Axiom. If you wait too long, the fair will not be what it is now or has been. Every year it gets bigger, and soon will go the way of the Halloween Festival, I fear. But I do have some hot video. Email me and I will send it to you when it gets edited...not for content, just my numerous mistakes.

I missed Folsom Street in SF, but attended Folsom Europe in Berlin last month. The european version is only 5 years old. Had a great time :)

Derek and I had a fucking great time all week, at the fair and at the parties. Although, next time I want to bring some clothes for when the street fair ends at 6PM...I was barely dressed (a jock and sneakers) and it's freezing once the sun goes down! :o

>Is Folsom Europe comparable to Folsom SF?

[a href=http://www.folsomeurope.com/index.php?lang=en&file=index]Folsom Europe[/a] is a smaller, more hard-core and less commercial event.

How can I put it ? ... The difference is that leather boys in Europe sleep in leather, wake up in leather, take their shower in leather ... whereas for Americans, leather is just an outfit, something to wear one night. Of course, I'm generalizing, but you get my point.

The actual Street Fair is held on the corner of Fuggerstrasse and Welserstrasse in Schöneberg, one of the gay areas in Berlin (they have several). A couple of blocks were closed for traffic and that was the place to be on Saturday afternoon.

There were 2 big "official" parties: 'Perverts' on Friday night and 'Pig' on Saturday night. I attended the latter which was held in an old warehouse outside Berlin. I think they did a pretty good job. I'm planning to return next year.

You're probably right. It's become very much a costume thing here, like Halloween or something. Personally, I've never been into wearing leather at all (maybe a mental holdover from my vegan days, although I do eat meat now) but the "leather" events here, like Folsom or IML, have grown to include all fetish wear, like rubber/latex or sports gear (which is why, at one party, I dressed in a rugby kit). I guess the Euro Folsom is more strictly leathery...but I think I'll still check it out next year. "Pig" sounds right up my alley... :p

Would that I could....looks like a great time and those Germans....woof.
Yeah, and I'd bet you would if you could! Plus, "those Gemans" definitey have that sort of thing in their blood!

In celebration of the event, and not being able to be there....I will rub my ass on the leather in my livingroom and pretend...

Oh boy. Something else for The Legendary Dave to add to his studio. Right next to the sling.

Is this and/or the sling part of his travelling toys and equipment?
