Okay reporting back - was really put off by Wayne… very pushy, was told I had to tip a lot at the cashier before I even got in… also was just not impressed at the massage.

aside from Kenny, who are the other muscular types that I should watch out for at TSMS?

I had a session with Wayne too. I thought he gave a great massage, he's very skilled and aimed to please. Won't repeat though because I called for an appointment with Shaun, I specifically asked for Shaun, asked if he was working, they said yes, asked when his next availability was, they said anytime, I asked if I could come in "now" they said yes. Wayne answered the door and I could tell when he started talking that it was the same guy who answered the phone. I told him I had an appointment with Shaun, he said yes, ok, but I looked around and didn't see him there. I thought maybe he was using the restroom or something. Wayne showed me to my room, I said I'm having Shaun, right and he said yes. After I got on the table, Wayne came in and I said what's your name, you aren't Shaun. He played the game that he didn't understand what I was saying, then he said ohhhhh, Shaun only on Sundays, I'm ok? I almost got up and left I was so pissed off, but I stayed, got a good massage, and I took it out of his tip (although I still tipped more than I should have). Even though it was a great massage, I won't repeat with him and I won't fall for that again.

I believe this is a pattern with TSMS.  If I recall this happened to another client.

I think most people who visits TS are not familiar with their faces (by this forum’s recommendation) so they thought they can get away with it.

Maybe next time, let’s ask the name of the receptionist who took our reservations, ask the name of the masseurs who let us in.  Leave if they deceive again.

I'm Wayne. When I'm taking orders, I won't tell you my name first - I'll just ask if you have a reservation. If you're coming for the first time, I'll tell you the price, but I'll never give you my name. I don't want people to know my name, and definitely won't tell you . I'm an introverted Asian guy and I rarely tell customers my name either. Are you that confident about your tip? So I'm confident enough to tell you my name? That's just ridiculous. Even though I'm a server, I don't want you talking about me or gossiping about me.

I am Wayne. Whoever you book with will be serving you when you arrive. If the person you booked is off today, they'll tell you the truth when you call - they won't lie to you. There's no need to either, since the two people don't even look alike. You're not some big shot or celebrity who deserves special treatment - you're just making things way too complicated in your head.If you didn't make an appointment with me, I wouldn't show up in front of you - you probably wouldn't even get to meet me. I'm an introverted Asian guy, and I don't like showing off. That's just not my personalit。The only reason you say it was me who opened the door is because it was my turn, or maybe you didn't have a reservation, or maybe you had a reservation but didn't specify who you wanted to see with. I opened the door and welcomed you because of my job and out of politeness. Nobody is forcing you to stay and receive service. You have legs and feet - if you don't like Wayne, you can just leave right then and there, nobody's holding you back. Since you stayed and received the excellent, considerate, and attentive service from handsome Asian guy Wayne, it's only fair that you tip. It's basic human courtesy. Wayne thanks you for your tip, but it's not as much as you think - it's just a tip, nothing more。。You said the voice you heard on the phone was Wayne. Let me tell you, Wayne doesn't answer his phone - he rarely answers at all. Even AI that understands English can hardly tell who's talking when it's an Asian speaking. You actually recognized Wayne the first time you met him - you're even better than a robot 👍🏻Even better than AI 👍🏻You have the right to choose not to come - that's your freedom and choice. But please don't use the word "deceive."Nobody's lying to you. You're hurting Wayne by saying that. Wayne appreciates your tip and wishes you a great day.

I'm confused. Why is the person claiming to be Wayne talking about Wayne in the third person?🤔

Maybe there are several Wayne’s???🤪

Not Wayne here!!!!  If its the real Wayne instead of putting a long thread on here and retaliating he should go to the source to clear up any misunderstandings.  This is a venue for folks like us to seek advice from our peers

The texts are from "Wayne888".  This may be the real Wayne trying to convince us that he is not deserving of the negative comments towards Wayne.  However, our Frince got naked on the table ready for his massage and Wayne walks in to do it when he had already informed Frince that he will get Shaun who was his chosen masseur.  Wayne didn't like the use of the word "deception" but isn't that the perfect example of it?

Hey…you misspoke the wrong name…I never engaged with Wayne. I just quoted spaman’s comments.  You have to tag spaman, not me lol.

My English isn't good enough - it's not my native language, so please forgive me. Thanks。                                                                 I already explained it really clearly.Welcome to the spa,Who are you making an appointment with, which one? The moment you get here, I'll confirm with you。This is my job.My English isn't great, but with such a simple name, I can understand it.You didn't make an appointment with me. You saw me because it was my turn. My turn, got it?Don't tell me bullshit with your eyes open.。You didn't make a reservation with me, so I won't serve you, let alone replace someone else to do it.。I'm just me, and I'm not going to replace anyone. You're no big shot or celebrity - do you really think you're that important? Haha ,What a huge joke. I'm not the person you're looking for. If you know who you have an appointment with, why ask me my name? I'll tell you, but since I'm not the right person, anyway. so why don't you just leave? Why don't you just go?I don't have to serve you just because I have to, get it?At any time, you have the right to leave.,It's like you just finished eating a delicious burger 🍔, and then turn around and start cursing the person who made it, saying they deceived you. Don't you think that's pretty unreasonable?Wayne is just a simple, shy guy, but this really pissed me off 😡I don't want to explain anything further. Let's just leave it at that. Thanks。

I’m not attacking anyone personally or saying the massage wasn’t good. I already said the massage itself was excellent. My issue was that I specifically asked for Shaun and genuinely believed I was booking with Shaun. If there was a misunderstanding, ok, but from my perspective it felt very misleading since Shaun’s name was mentioned multiple times on the phone and again when I arrived. I still stayed for the appointment because I was already there, and again, the massage was great. I’m simply sharing my experience honestly, the same way anyone else would. Just be honest with your customers, it goes a long way. No hard feelings, but after all this I’ll probably take my business elsewhere. Luckily there’s no shortage of options in the city.
