Whats with all the auto text messages on RM Messenger?

I noticed a few guys I've reached out to through RM's messenger are using auto-reply messages recommending contacting directly by text using a number listed. Even when you reach out to them using the number, they don't respond. The last one I just tried was Joseph_fit and he's pushing his OnlyFans at the same time. What it looks like to me is some of these guys might actually have handlers and they are not the ones coordinating meet-ups.

Interesting; I've never experienced this as I always text their number, with no expectations that they will ever response. We all know how this goes - but if they do reply, then go.

An auto-reply with a text number or private email address is a smart way to avoid a lot of nonsense that the RM system has now included.

 

It does help, however, if an escort responds to that private text/email in a timely manner.

I've run across this in a few cases. Generally the auto response simplifies communication by identifying rates, and asking for a call or text (which, if the escort chooses to receive notifications, is likely to be seen much faster than other means of communicating via RentMen. These days, most guys don't spend much time online logged into RM, but rely on notifications on their cell phones to tell them of an inquiry.

I’ve gotten two RM auto-replies lately containing OnlyFans links as a way to get in contact with the escort. Huh? ??‍♂️

Personally I can't stand the messenger feature. If a provider doesn't have a number listed I don't even bother.

We use to have our messages forwarded to our emails and rarely have to touch RM at all - they changed to this messaging system so now we have to log on to look for messages. The auto-replies are very handy for this reason. We can't keep logging in and out of RM because that makes a lot of people think we are available, online looking for work, or working at all - gives us a LOT of unwanted traffic, which can only be handled on RM.

 

I am not working but I have to keep my ad up to keep the price I have (way cheaper than most people's memberships) - so my auto-reply tells them "thanks, but..."

Unfortunately, many will text me anyways after receiving the autoreply ?‍♀️

 

Also, there are services managing people's paysites and social media - if you use Twitter, their paysites, or other social media to reach them, sometimes you aren't talking to them. That's not very common though. If they aren't responding to their phone, that's on them.

Yes quite a few of more recent activity in RM profiles have set auto-reply's. I've experienced that prolly ~70% maybe even 75% of the folks do end up replying a few hours later after the auto-reply. But the ones that immediately direct to just an OnlyFans account don't seem to reply afterwards, Hahaha

I prefer to make first contact thru the RM app. If I don’t get a response I move on. Not crazy about sending texts to people I don’t know

Joseph_fit did eventually respond through RM messenger, but the reply was pointless. I am not flying out anybody. We are in a pandemic and I still have not gotten my stimmy.

Thats the most idiotic question known to man. You do know escorts travel and look for new markets, right? Also, I don't have to spend money flying out anyone just because I am interested in them.

I wish escorts could see who has them buddy listed so they could gauge a potential market. I use the buddy list a lot.

 

I do like the RM messenger and I like the auto reply if it has rates listed.

Not quite the same, but I do believe that if you request to see an escorts "private photos", that it does send a notification to that profile you were at least perusing even if you're in an incognito viewing setting.
