I just checked, his profile is still up when I logged out, so yeah he blocked me. Don't know why, haven't messaged him in a while. And he was the only local I would have scheduled a massage with.

Was seriously looking to schedule a massage with him post COVID, don't know what his issue was. He's got a reputation for being stand offish and a long list of conditions for his sessions. I haven't seen any reviews, curious what other peoples interactions have been like.

 

I'm bummed because he was one of the more promising masseurs in the area.

Being blockable by a provider seems to be a good reason to use the site anonymously. Why sign up for an account if it makes you so easily blocked?

I agree, and have always used the Rent.Men site anonymously.

 

Out of curiosity, what are the benefits of membership? And even if a member, is it not possible to still visit the site anonymously?

 

Also, and unanswerable by any but the escort, why would an escort block someone for checking out their profile? Makes no sense to me, and seems a bit petty.

The big benefit for me is the ability to use RM messenger and to have a buddy list of my favorite escorts. Not sure why he blocked me I was looking at his profile recently as I was going to hire him, guess I won't be now.

This would be my point. "Not now" and "not yet" don't mean not interested or never. But blocking a potential client probably does. Some might see this as bad for business.

I actually got blocked for not sufficiently defending an escort on this forum from other member's complaints about him. Oh well, I wasn't planning on meeting with him again anyway.

 

But yeah, I don't really get blocking at all unless maybe you get a bunch of annoying RM messages or something. Because the reality is that anyone could still contact you just by logging off and are you necessarily going to even connect a text to the person you blocked? Even if they blocked the number they could get a burner account.

On RentMen a paid membership provides access to providers’ videos and semi-private gallery. Those in their private gallery still require them to unlock it. You also can tweak your settings so your visits are hidden, but I don’t know that requires a paid membership.

 

On RentMasseur a paid membership provides access to their private galleries without needing approval.

 

Blocking a potential client who has viewed your profile but hasn’t contacted you is beyond petty. Not everyone is looking to hire immediately, especially when planning a trip. I like to see who lives or will be in the city while I’m there, read the profiles and reviews and do some research before wasting anyone’s time or my money.

 

Last year, pre-pandemic I hosted a RentMasseur provider in my home for a weekend who blocked me about a month later. We had a great time together, no issues or misunderstandings and we exchanged friendly texts after the weekend just to say hello, so I wasn’t some unknown person. I sent him a text asking if he accidentally blocked me or if I did something. Radio silence for three months, then out of the blue texts me saying he got “freaked” because I viewed his profile three times the day he blocked me. I honestly don’t remember hitting it three times, but I do have a habit of paging forward and backward in my browser, so I don’t know if I did that and it registered as a visit each time I did. He then tried to carry on a conversation like we were besties. When I tried to view his profile, I found he “unblocked” me. I moved on long before the text and never replied. He then sent a follow-up ONE day later, after three months of not replying to my initial text, asking why I haven’t replied. Seriously? You’re a grown man, not a twelve year old TikTok girl.

I have been blocked by a guy on RM because I contacted him about his online and video services (which he advertised). And he sent a snarky message to me and blocked me. So stupid for many reasons. But mostly because all I would have to do is text him rather than contact him directly through the app. Unless you have actually met someone, I have no idea why blocking is a useful idea.

On Rent.Men: Under the “Your User Control Options” Icon in the Upper Right Corner of the screen – multiple choices are available for various settings for your Client Profile. On Rentmen.eu, when logged in, click on your UserName Icon in the upper right corner to select options.

 

- After clicking on the Icon, click “My Settings”

 

- Click on “Privacy Settings” at the bottom of the choices

 

- Third from the bottom of the choices offered determines “tracking” of your profile and the default setting is Yes to be tracked. You can select to NOT be tracked so advertisers will not know if you viewed their profile unless you send them a message or call/text them separately.

Just clicked on a local escort and got an error saying the profile is inaccessible. Does that mean he blocked me?

 

Hmmm - - - I was going to reply, "I wonder if it was Nero" before reading the rest of the thread and your subsequent message identifying him as the provider. I have had the same experience that he had blocked me. I'm confident he did that after reading my profile.

Maybe he saw you checking his profile multiple times without contacting him or or he had some weird texting with another potential clients and assume it was you therefore deciding to make some preventive blocking... Some escorts just don't like the IM.

 

If you really want to see him, text him, make plans and at the end suggest if he could unblock you so you can give him ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating
