I guess I was conditioned by living four years in Geneva, the French speaking part of Switzerland. I also spoke French but not German. I acquired a local Swiss boyfriend during that time who was in his mid twenties and I took him on his first visit to Zurich. I went to highschool near Geneva. Many fond memories. Later I used to go often for business. Geneva and Lausanne are so beautiful. The lake is so calm. Zurich less so.
