I know that daddy warns us about trolls and the like but

after seeing all the lock outs and really fucked up posts made by and instigated by twinkboylover28 (with over 1000 posts) I surrender almost every thread now has his diatribe and links and useless information in an effort to have his way.

I am too sensitive and as many people say if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen

well I dont cook so I am heading to Taco Bell for a nice spicy Chalupa south west style.

I found this site by accident and find it a place where i have been able to gain a great deal of really cool friendships via this site clients and escorts alike

i hate that a bad apple has to plague the board but its his right to be here i can just go away.

 

Daddy is the coolest of the cool and and has help me rocket into new heights with my work. I dont post near enough to see the point of twinkboylover28's tantrum or insults and crying games so I will look for another site and try to join it and when the broom finally sweeps up the mess maybe one of my friends from this board will email me and let me know that the MC is back to being supportive of expressing valid and promising views and differences instead of a mud fight and name calling etc.. etc... etc...

David, it's still a great community and in some ways, a family, too. It's not very hard to avoid/ignore the craziness or negativity. I haven't read any of the recent stuff you're referring to, other than to quickly scan one or two of the threads and pop in to post a one-liner and then quickly get back out. I still find this a great place to learn, share and grow; for example, the thread I initiated about who is and isn't in the closet was a real eye-opener for me. Other posters, such as purplekow, ariadne1880, mmk, pegasian, etc., have been creating fun interactive threads that help bring us all together to discuss everything from hot asses to Broadway show tunes (personally, I'd prefer a show tune about hot asses). You're free to leave, of course, but there are so few escort voices on here and anytime we lose one, it's a shame. Take another look around and you'll see that this is still a great meeting place, if we just don't feed the trolls.

I have been here for longer than my join date indicates. I went through a spell where I asked Daddy to deactivate my handle. When another poster convinced me to come back and try to add to the conversation, I asked Daddy if he could re-activate my handle and he kindly did so, but my join date changed to the later date.

 

I have developed a list of posters who I have come to ignore right out of the gate. If they start a thread, I probably won't ever read it. Once they join a thread (especially after their 20 or 30th reply) I stop following it. Most of these handles on my list have either been banned, or over time have moved on, changed their handle, or maybe even grown up. Recently two new names have made it to the list and tho they may have high numbers of posts, I find little of value in those posts, so they are now on the ignore list. Wading into one of their threads is like going back to grade school for me. I imagine that they both sit there and giggle when they write their posts, taking childish delight in how upset their target will be. Watching the bitchiness and baiting back and forth makes me feel soiled just reading it because it seems so stereotypical of what the world classifies as GAY behavior. I try very hard in my life to present a gay role model that doesn't rely on stereotypes. I believe playing into the stereotypes holds us back as a minority.

 

Time was when there were posters here who would have taken your post David, and said don't announce your exit, just leave. I hope we have moved well past that sentiment, and I hope you will reconsider and stick it out. The place will never be perfect for everyone, because we are a very diverse group with a multitude of takes and preferences. But Rick is right when he says there are too few escort voices here.

 

Think about it...stick around for a while and make yourself a list.

David like Rick and Jackhammer I've been around the board for a while and while I can understand your reasonings to leave for now you'll be missed. There are so few of us working guys that participate on the board and when one leaves there really is a void. This isn't the only board I go to but all in all they are all the same. There will be nice moments and there will be a few knock out, hair pulling, claws drawn fights too. It's human nature and one just needs to learn how to roll with the punches. Like some of the others there are posters here that I pay very little attn to because the drama isn't worth it. I'd suggest you do the same. But in the mean time sexy enjoy the summer and don't forget the sun block because the sun really isn't your friend.

I, who have been posting since 2001 but read and lurked two years prior, have found this MC to have been taken on a roller coaster ride in terms of posters and their posts on many occasion! Throughout this time I have tried to lend constructive criticism which some have taken in another manner and denegrated and disparaged what I'd written. A few of the posters have even had the mitigated gall (in their attempt to be humorous to degrade the content of some of my threads.

 

Well, instead of my writing "tit-for-tat," I have decided to ignore their quasi editing and ridicule. I think this has been the best thing to do. I know I have felt the better with this decision. I now read quite selectively as well as post!

 

So, David, stay but be selective as to what you read as well as post! :-)
