I had a hire through Craigslist about 5 or 6 years ago when I lived in LA. He wasn't particularly good-looking or young, but in decent enough shape. The real asset he brought to the bargain was the biggest dick of anyone I've hired (or been with). Just huge. I enjoyed it and him several times over a year or so. He was a working comedian and actor (off-an-on working, hence the need for a side hustle). He enjoyed telling me about his show biz work but never gave me his real name. But he told me more than enough to figure that out. So I saw some of his comedy on Youtube and some commmercials he told me about shooting. Nice guy.

Here's a winner.  

James Franco's reimagining of the old (and kinda horrible) Al Pacino movie "Cruising" was called something like "Interior:  Leather Bar."  One of the stars was Christian Patrick, who had been a nude go go dancer and then an escort.  Often advertises as Master Avery.

Wicked handsome man, even now that he is a greybeard.  I was with him a number of times before the movie; ironically, I was the DOM when we met, and I realize in retrospect that being a sub was a stretch for him.  But we had a great time together.

I hired an escort who lived in Leamington Spa (a town in the Midlands of England) a few years ago  - a beautiful mixed race lad who claimed he was a model and an actor for TV adverts (he claimed he got £80,000 for being in a Playstation advert).  

I don't know whether he was a jackanory or telling me the truth, as I hardly watch TV.

10+ years ago I saw a gay movie and a, at the time currently working and popular, LA escort was in it.  On IMDB he had maybe seven movie credits.  We knew each other, but I didn't know that.  Not long afterward I saw him at the gay Starbucks CLEARLY in a showbiz meeting w/3 other people, and from the look on his face, I knew that we did not know each other :-)

That reminds me of a quote from Guy Davenport, I can 't find it exactly, but here it goes, "When I see my cat outside the house, he doesn't know me.  And it is clear from his expression, that I should not know him."
