Would you hire if you had Covid-19 test results?

I had a provider ask me to take a covid test prior to meeting. I gave me the name and site of an organization that provides at-home COVID-19 testing. At first I was skeptical but I did my research and it checked out. After answering a few questions I was able to get the test and get it paid by my insurance. The test came the next day, did a nasal swab and sent it back via FedEx.

With test results (and quarantining until) in hand, would you hire or would you provide?

I've never been tested and I hired a guy last month. I understand providers being skittish if they have underlying health conditions but I still wouldn't bother with an escort who was asking for COVID test results. Clients don't ask escorts for STI test results and rightly so. The same logic applies in this case (unless the escort has an underlying condition)

Actually, in this case the provider lives in an environment where someone lives that does have underlying conditions. He’s taking precautions partially for them.

In that case I understand the escort asking for test results. However, I still wouldn't bother getting tested just to meet up with them unless they are exceptionally good looking.

There's no way I would have an intimate encounter with anyone right now...free or paid....with test results or not. It's way too soon to be thinking about that. Exception being if it is someone you live with and therefore is within your "bubble". I have not been intimate with anyone since January and I will continue to be very cautious until there is an available vaccine or a truly useful treatment.

What a splendid idea about getting an at-home test for the virus.

Would you be so kind and post the name of the test company and how the company can be contacted? I assume the test company has offices in various states and large cities.

Several times I tried to get a test at a drive-up facility. It required waiting behind a long line of cars. The line moved very slow. Then, after an hour or more of waiting in line (in my car), three different days and times someone from the testing company came to my car and said I should return another day when it is not so busy. This happened even though I supposedly had an appointment.

An at-home test seems much easier and convenient.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry Guys, but I’m not posting the testing site in a public thread because I do no want to appear to be advertising. I’m just a satisfied customer. If you think you’d like to use the service, please DM me and we’ll work it out.

Wouldn't make a difference to me.

A test result is meaningless to me unless he took the test in my presence and existed in an isolation bubble or my immediate space between test and session.

My test shouldnt give a provider absolute comfort. I could test Monday, come in contact, convert to carrier Tuesday, and receive negative report results Wed. I suppose one could find some comfort in the lowered likelihood indicated by a recent test.

For the record, I'm not hiring at present because my head's simply not in the right place to enjoy it. But fear of contracting Covid-19 is only a secondary factor in my rentguy-abstinence.

Sane folks think in a similar manner. I am with you 100%! I, too, "have not been intimate with anyone since January..." and will have to continue to think about the welfare of others as well as self.

Read question number 4. It has a list of kits authorized by the FDA. And also you can find in another question a long list or test kits that should no longer be distributed.

The situations aren't equivalent. Most STI's are not life-threatening. HIV, while being virulent, is not that contagious. Coronavirus is both virulent and contagious. It is just not true that healthy people with no underlying conditions are not at risk for serious illness. Remember the hunky nurse, the picture of health, who ended up on a ventilator for several weeks. Requiring testing from clients just seems like a smart risk management strategy. It also culls prospects who don't respect the escort's concern for his health and well being. I'm sure the escort knows it will cost him some business, but, intelligently, he has decided that his health and well-being are more important.
