You know, until your post, @Danny-Darko, I didn't make the connection between this image and the cropped version that I, too, have seen before (and now realize you included earlier in this thread). So thanks for your post.

This is an image from the German documentary film Die Jungs vom Bahnhof Zoo, also called Rent Boys, which features interviews with current and former hustlers (mostly immigrants from Eastern Europe) in and around Berlin's Bahnhof Zoo train station.

Hustlers (published in 2014) features a series of images by Eve Fowler of young men working the streets of New York's West Village and along Santa Monica Boulevard in L.A. The photographs, including the one below, were shot between 1993 and 1998.

Miss the rush of driving through certain parts of town on a hot summer afternoon and seeing shirtless guys like this hanging out.  Pulling up having them lean in and ask what they're looking for.  And the flip side, hanging out on a side street, shirtless, watching the cars slowly cruise by until one stops and the driver motions you over.
