Today I just saw some escorts showing messages on their profiles saying they have put their profiles on stand-by and they will come back to work when things normalize. I messaged them to check if they are ok with their health and it apparently is a Rentmen initiative offering them the option to put their memberships on hold and reactivate later so they don’t fully consume what they have paid in advance for their membership. Just did this and thanks for the info.

I was reluctant to edit my bio to indicate that I am taking a break because of how they censor and review and could mess up/delete what I currently have written. Additionally, with how rentmen indicates online or available, simply logging in to check if I have messages could lead clients on to assume I am.taking appointments.

RM still is an annoying platform with many flaws, but I have to give it up to them when they get something right?

This reminds me of a film which I viewed many years back during the high peaks of the AIDS virus. ...went to a film where the main actor was a teacher. He had gotten ill (...can't remember if it were HIV or acute flu). While he was hospitalized, he left his bed to go out and fuck. His actions sickened me for his having exhibited complete irresponsibility. Could he had NOT waited until he was not ill, giving his germs, etc. to another and spreading...?

Wow...I’d completely forgotten about that film. Certainly was a thought provoking film.

I had a great exchange with a provider about a possible meeting this past Sunday. He’s a top-notch guy, and we know each other well enough to dispense with bullshit. I’m a dedicated horn-dog, and he is, too. But we had a couple of good discussions about risk factors and good citizenship in a crisis situation, and in the end we both agreed, mutually and reluctantly, that meeting up was not a good idea. So although the decision left me frustrated and horny, I believe it was the right one, and I really appreciate my guy’s honest and intelligent input.
