Dennis Lavia made the cover of Fizeek magazine in 1966. Back then publications like Fizeek featured near naked "bodybuilders" as examples of good health and often gave you information how you too could have a better body. It was actually a front to make them look like something other than appealing to gay men.

Danny Fitzgerald’s Brooklyn Boys - Photographer Danny Fitzgerald (1921-2000) was born in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and produced male nude physique photography from 1958 to 1968. He and his partner Richard Bennett produced and marketed their photographs under the pseudonym “Les Demi Dieux.”

This is Stef in 1963. He was a young athlete, whose father accompanied him to all his photographic sessions !!
