Danny-Darko Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 These two photographs show Tommy O’Rourke (1) , and Johnny “The Bull” Gibson (2). Both were Sex Workers (Renters, or Male Prostitutes) at Columbia Hall (a.k.a. Paresis Hall) a brothel for male clients in New York during the 1880′s. It was closed down, due to its increasing popularity with the men of the city. I suppose these cards could be advertisements for what was for sale, or as a keepsake after the event. + Pensant, + bashful, Walker1 and 1 other 4
