Has anyone found a good online personal trainer? One that gives you weekly workouts and other fitness advice? Seems like a lot of them on IG.

I had one for a while at my gym till I felt comfortable enough doing stuff on my own. If you lack motivation a trainer might help. Now a days I use the app JeFit. It has tons of different excercises to do using the different equipment found at the gym. It's great cause you can keep track of the weight and reps you do.

Hugs,

Greg

@gapguy Former escort and porn star Tyler Andrews does online personal training. He is very dedicated, and I've referred to him in the past. He spends time to find your goals and what will work with you. Since his porn/escort days he has bulked up and competed in body building competitions. PM me and I will arrange contact if you are interested.

Having worked with certified sports-medicine trainers for the last few years, I will say that due to the industry being highly unregulated, just about anyone can call themselves a 'trainer.'

Ask for credentials- Don't just go by what they look like. Many, MANY guys juice their way into that body, which is complete and total bullshit for a healthy, sensible, long-term maintainable musculature.

Training just to 'get big' is the wrong way to go as you get older. You want to be core strong, flexible, heart healthy and to keep your body moving in the most efficient way possible.

That does not come from powerlifting.

I'm quite happy with Future. I have a responsive and truly qualified coach. They require the use of an Apple Watch (they will send you one to use if you don't already have one) to communicate with the Future app on your iPhone, to get real telemetry on how you are doing, so no cheating!

Also the guys who are posting on IG are posting nothing but cock buldges from what I've seen. They just happen to be at a gym.

He’s right, I’ve had three and after some time it gets old and you will be paying the PT to just be there basically doing nothing with or for you and if you are unlucky enough to hire a straight one and conduct the sessions at your gym, you will be left alone 80% of the time doing everything by yourself walking after him to ask what to do next while he kindly starts helping and socializing with all the girls at the gym. If you have enough space and equipment at home to conduct sessions there, that will probably be better. Ask him to send a transcription of diet and exercise program that you can keep with you after your contract ends. After 3 months of repeating all the exercises you can start doing everything by yourself. What I do now is to cycle the routines of my 3 ex-PTs and also combine searching for other routines online and if I don’t know how to do an exercise I look for the video on Youtube. I kickstarted with them, now I’m on my own.

I don't agree that a personal trainer will necessarily run out of stuff to teach you and start ignoring you. I have a bodybuilding coach/trainer who I have worked with for nearly two years now. I started with him doing online coaching for contest prep. Ive done three preps with him now, the last for a national show in LA. I also train with him a couple times a month. The training sessions are always interesting and challenging and I have learned an enormous amount about bodybuilding. Yes, there is much more to bodybuilding than throwing weights around. When you find somebody who's good and you get really comfortable with each other, a trust develops that is hard to beat. My guy is straight and very nice to look at. He's one of those straight guys who gets gay men. He's an IFBB pro and he has huge muscles.
