Thanks for holding a professional and civilized conversation. As you can see by the dislikes in my comments, there are people that feel offended for this kind of dialogue that allows us as clients to learn if there are any real differences between a platinum and a “regular” escort. They enter the forum with the sole purpose of disliking every single comment I make. People that I don’t know or even know if they are clients or escorts. ??‍♂️ What they don’t realize is that with every additional dislike they just give me more power over them ?

Brevity is not my forte, so being limited to 250 words automatically means I could never be successful as a provider - and I'll just try to convince myself that's the only reason.

 

Now, if there was a way to market self-deprecation....?

I know a number of Clients who won’t hire anyone from the platinum and prefer to give business to the guys in gold or basic because they are “less full of themselves”, potentially invest more of themselves into wheat they do because they are working harder for the recognition...

Platinum is really just rentmen trying to rape escorts over for more cash~ Juat like their other marketing incentives... Regardless of whether it’s Escorts or Clients paying for those extras... it’s still only rentmen that is profiting from it all~ Each Escort/Client that is paying an extra $500 to $1,000/Month to them, is losing $7,000 to $12,000/year in advertising overhead alone~ and then add on travel overhead, physical health, websites, clothing, toys, gear, events... Rentmen has become disrespectful and abusive to the escort/Client community~ All about their self profit now~

 

In your city, New York, it seems like the Rentmen business model works very well for them. The first 5 pages are only Platinum ads, and even if I filter by “Tops”, the first page and half it’s all full of Platinum ads, and all very hung! ?

Now you make me wonder if most users when they are new to the website and see all the “platinum” escorts on top, they think it’s because they are the best reviewed escorts, not knowing that those positions were paid.

Well... and rentmen Rod the day is also a purchased product... an escort paid for that spot for a specific amount of time in a particular region~

Sponsors just means that the escort has paid to be in the sponsor section... it’s like $100/month~

Even though I do support the RentM enterprise, I have shared some thoughts with them as well. I am appreciative that they have allowed more than 250 characters at the time of this post.

 

I can understand the benefits of having different tier levels of memberships, but I do feel the same that they are consensually raping us to a degree. And I say consensual because we are paying for the advertising, however I’ve suggested to them before that they are pocketing far more than we are in the long run. And they should be allowing us to use our private pics and video views to “pay” for the ads...essentially letting clients pay for our ads. Not us paying $80-$100, then having our time wasted by 2 or 3 clowns before finally getting 1 serious person. Make THEM pay for our advertising. Directly. Not out of our earnings.

 

Lately I’ve just stuck with the Gold ads and have not done a platinum boost in idk how long. I wasn’t really finding it helping much, and in small or crowded markets, you can pay for platinum multiple times, and still not get any bookings from it immediately. I have also told Rentmen that, with the current pandemic, I’m getting half the serious clients, yet paying double the price...that I was 2 years ago. I feel a gold ad should be restructured to $39.99 or maybe even $49.99 with a recurring membership like RentMasseur, not $79.

 

And like Tyger said, our “other“ overheads are endless. Last week was car insurance, this week is tag registration and inspection plus new brakes (I’ve logged over 2,500 miles in September traveling for appointments, because my current market is nearly unsustainable) Last thing I need, is more advertising costs on my coat tails.

Rent boy... rather rentmen, charges escorts for platinum boost, ( cost is according to how long you want the boost), RM of the Day, Video of the day, Interview of the day, sponsor, basic or gold membership, (each has profile limitations with regard to access and functions available)... they charge you for banners, edit your profile and messages of words they don’t deem fit but allow all

Kinda of blatantly sexual language that defines working boys as prostitutes... they’ve reduced the “about me” section from 2500 characters to 250 leaving little room to define your business as something other than prostitution... Thwy have also recently added an IM platform that only allows you to write short sentences... in order to contact someone they the IM platform, you have to manually enter each contact by going in and out of the program to get someone’s exact profile name... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t~

As the advertising system becomes more complex and difficult to use, escorts seem to use the platinum boost feature in the hopes people will contact them~

Their site has become grossly self profiting at the cost of the escort providers and Clients as well~

It’s also evident that they provide favors in advertising for certain escorts but, do not extend the same rights to others while charging them full rates or more for less service~
