Put the dollar in their designated calf or arm strap and move on. No private dances at the club. No touching.

Yes, Secrets is different from most strip clubs. Dancers are buck naked, often with hardons. However there are no lap dances and you can’t touch their private area. You tip into their sock. I like the place however. BTW in DC strippers have to be paid as employees by the bar.

There used to be a lot of strip clubs in DC but gentrification has closed most of them.

Every other Sat night is DC Rawhides, gay country line dancing starting at 7. (Every other Friday is Daryl Wilson parties that have long lines and are expensive cover). Guys can "get friendly" and have touching between sets but not when they're dancing nude with erections. No hands between knees and waist on set. You can twist their nipples though. It'll be torn down for condos sometime soon as it was recently sold. The end of the wildest group of nude strip clubs/sex clubs in the US.... For a baseball stadium.

gentrification is ruining everything in DC. Even good restaurants can’t stay open because of the skyrocketing rents.

I have heard the rumors for years now that Secrets is about to close. Nothing about that in their newsletter though. Unless the area is massively renovated I can’t imagine living there. It’s not dangerous, but it’s empty! Right next to the city bus garage. But they are building condos everywhere, so who knows.
