Quite a tirade to his latest review (10/28/19).....comments? Seems to me he did more harm than good.

"If that review gets posted tomorrow. I will be more than happy to take both of you to court for defamation of character. I’ve already sent you one of the recordings that I have. I really don’t want it to have to come to court honestly. But if you give me no other option I will take 5 grand out of my bank for a lawyer and not feel about it. Playing with someone’s reputation is just not cool. Your starting to back me more and more into a corner and animals are most dangerous when there cornered so remember that.

By the way this not a threat this is a promise. If you think just because I’m 22 years old that you can take advantage of me. Your sadly mistaken and I’ve been talking to lawyers. I have a very good one all lined up mark my words and if I have to go all the way to your Vegas trailer park I will. Yes I know your living in a trailer I know pornstars that you’ve hired in the past that are my buddies. So I could ruin you in a lot of different ways not just legally. Mark my words I will do it really if you give me no choice and I will be ruthless in doing it. I’ve been talking to my pornstar buddies as well and they say that I have a good case with more than enough evidence to win. I will not feel badly about anything I do if that review is posted tomorrow. I mean after all you didn’t feel bad about ruining my reputation. So why should I care about your life and reputation? I’ve sent you multiple emails to both of you addresses and even sent you one of my recordings. You will see the second one in court if necessary."

That escort used to be a member of the forum briefly. I believe he was banned because he kept making unfounded claims that the review site was all fake. (I'm sure the ban was because of something deeper than that though.) Which I always found odd because he generally had positive reviews.

Here again, the response tells more than the review. First, the threats against Daddy embody serious crimes -- threats of harm to person and property, and extortion by trying to leverage the threats to spike the unfavorable review. Second, "Collin" is deluded if he thinks he has a strong legal case for defamation. The courts won't protect against reputational damage to one's illegal business. And Collin's response colors any claim for harm to reputation because his threats do more damage to his rep than the review.

Daddy did us a great service by publishing the review and the response.

I am not taking sides here, but something doesn’t seem right about the review. The person that wrote it accused the escort of stealing money from his wallet. The reviewer says that they stopped at a gas station and he left his wallet in the car when he went in to pay. Wouldn’t he need his wallet to pay for the gas? At most gas stations, you can pay at the pump with a credit card, or you go inside to pay with cash. If the reviewer left his wallet and the escort in the car, he put himself in a vulnerable position and has himself to blame for that. I am always very guarded with my wallet and would not carelessly leave it lying around.

Reading it again, I have to agree. Just as weird a review as a response. "Left wallet in car to pay." - huh? "Had @200 and change in wallet. Owed him @50, paid him and he wait there for uber to Natick. Put wallet in pocket and went home and noticed later that the $200 was gone." - you had $200 in the wallet, paid him $50 out of that, then only later noticed the rest was gone?

I’m a bit confused. Did the escort record their session without the client’s knowledge?

Unclear what exactly was recorded. Could have been the session, could have been an argument afterwards over the reviewer's claim Collin stole $200 from him. Read Collin's response to the review. That's the only source of info about the recording.

And that could be a serious legal problem if it happened in Massachusetts. It's illegal in Massachusetts to secretly record private conversations without the consent of the other party involved.

Correct. Massachusetts is a "two party" consent state. But I got the impression from the review that the reviewer is located in Rhode Island which is a "one party" consent state. Either way, although there may be criminal penalties the usual sanction is the recording is inadmissible in court for use against the non-consenting party. Use against a third party (i.e., Daddy/the site) would not be prohibited. If the recording is for a nefarious purpose (extortion, for example), there may be more serious penalties such as incarceration or fines.

I agree that the review itself seems a bit off. But I will also say that my one attempt to hire Collin (which I gave up on after he tried to sneak in an extra fee for transportation, which I never expected) ended in a similar kind of crazy ranting, which I felt at the time was very out of proportion with the events that transpired. A huge turnoff. And it seems to me that his rant to me (taking up TWO long raving emails, if I recall) and the trump-like response to this review can't truly be the only times he's reacted like that. Whether this is due to substance abuse, or just being an abusive person in general, I don't know - but it's truly scary.

yes, the review makes no sense but the rant against the review being published exposes some issues and shows Collin is digging his reputation deeper and deeper. He doesn't even take time to clearly say what the review is a lie...

1st he's not 22... and 2nd he clearly doesn't know the difference between your and you're/you are.

Threatening is not a charming way to get more clients. He should have asked other regulars to review him and say the review is fake but threatening is a way to scare potential clients.

Vegas? Is he talking to the guy who wrote the review or the powers on here? At any case threatening is not right.

For the past year, I have found great success here in the Boston area on Grindr. With so many colleges around, there are numerous high quality guys available for a lot less money than what escorts here are charging. It's pretty easy to determine which Grindr profiles are approachable and guys as impressive as any found on RM can be hired for as little as $100.

Collin needed an editor before posting his response. Grammatical errors aside, I doubt an attorney would allow his or her client to post threats. Collin might want to reconisder to whom his $5,000.00 should go; a different type of counselor (as opposed to legal) comes to mind. No sarcasm intended.

Also, he's not going to find a lawyer prepared to be "ruthless" in a defamation suit for 5k. Needs to up the budget for the threat to pass the smell test.
