4th Annual Palm Springs Hooville Theater Night

With jackhammer season right around the corner it seemed like a good time to see what would be playing at our local playhouse during our annual get-together in February. This year it is Evita, so I bought a block of tickets and will hold them first come first served for those who wish to come for dinner and a show during this holiday weekend. In the past, we have had 15-18 guys show up and had a great time.

 

No word yet from Oliver on his Sunday afternoon pool party, but last year's was a real blast and I hope he repeats it again this year.

 

So mark your calendar for Saturday night, February 16th and, if you decide you want a ticket to Evita, let me know. Thanks. Just don't cry for me.

 

Hopefully, our favorite Asian muscle masseurs, Dylan and Daniel will be in town to smooth us all out!

I have never seen Evita alive either, but last month from my hotel room terrace I could look down upon her grave at the Recoleta Cemetery. Most people think she is buried in the crypt, but her actual body is under the sidewalk in front of it.

Bicycling to the 4th Annual Palm Springs Hooville Theater Night

As an adjunct to Hooville Theatre Night on Saturday, February 16, there will be a “DO” at my rental condo Sunday afternoon, February 17 – (cannot have a “party” so we’ll call it a Bash, Celebration, Festivity, Gala, Shindig, Fete, or a “DO” – pick one). Last year we celebrated the Chinese New Year. Maybe a late Valentine?

I just finished watching the DVD of SORDID LIVES from Netflix.

It was very funny and reminded me of the night I first saw the play of the same name.

I think it was the first Palm Springs Hooville Theater Night. I have very fond memories of the weekend and am looking forward to EVITA.
