Barber once a week when I'm in Dallas.

He's straight, doesn't say a lot and gives a fade that would make a DI weep.

I'm waiting for @Gar1eth to ask what DI stands for. :)

It took me a second. But I'm assuming it stands for Drill Instructor.

As for haircuts, it's usually several months apart for me. Yes, I look better if it's shorter, but I have my reasons.

#1. I grew up in the era of longer hair-the late 60's to the 80's.

#2. My hair was probably my best feature. Not that there was anything particularly special about it. Just nothing else was particularly special either. And unfortunately it was all gone before I even tried to date or hook-up. Going to the barber just reminds me of how bald I am. I hate being bald. Therefore I hate going to the barber.

When I lived in Minnesota I had coworkers that cut their hair and shaved once a year. Woodsy kind of fellas that did the ice fishing, deer hunting and so on. So I'm not stuck on the 6 haircuts a year thing. To each his own. I mean it's no more weird than jacking off into paper towel, right? Anyway, you guys are a scream sometimes. :)

My routine is barber every third saturday. I keep my hair fashionably short. This is the 21st century not the 80s :D. I go to a modern barber shop. They use Acqua di Parma products but they are barbers. Not hairstylists, not hairdressers.

I try to maintain positivity as much as possible. If you try to, I think it helps shape your outlook on life. I've had to quit some friends who always start the visit with "You know what really gripes me...." and then the tirade begins. It's draining. The OP may need to break the habit of complaining as a way of visiting.

When an escort stays for an extended stay, and they start complaining about anything seriously, I'll just mention we're on a holiday and neither of us can talk about work or negative stuff and I change the subject. Thankfully, I have rarely ever had to do that.

PS My stylist is Vietnamese and I can only pick out a few words of English every once in a while.
