Actually two or three. I'm interested in hearing from guys who are circumcised and especially ones who have had it done as adults. I am currently uncircumcised but plan to change that soon. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Urologist of family doc? Recovery period? Cost? Satisfaction? Life without foreskin?

I recently saw an escort review where the escort was labeled semi-circumcised. What is that? I am a real idiot on this subject but just know I want it done.

Circumcision as an adult is a bit more involved than it is in a child. There is more skin to be cut and the patient is more aware

of the discomfort. Most usually circumcision is done in an adult male as a result of phimosis or a scarred and limiting foreskin which prevents the foreskin from being retracted over the glans of the penis easily and with comfort. Elective circumcision is gaining some popularity, though most adults have lived with the most difficult time of being uncircumsized, adolescence.

If there is a medical reason for your decision, you should see your primary care doctor who will refer you to a urologist. If this is cosmetic only, you can probably go right to the urologist. You may have some success with having an insurance company pay for the procedure, even if it is basically elective, if you mention that it is interfering with your ability to have sexual contact comfortably.

Though most procedures can be done as an outpatient, some urologists will keep a patient overnight to observe for unusual bleeding, pain and swelling. You can expect a urinary catheter.

More information that you need? If you need more, be sure to discuss all your concerns with the urologist.

By the way, many men feel extra sensitive for quite awhile after the

procedure as the glans penis is no longer protected from the outside world.

>You can expect a urinary

>catheter.

I've had to have such a catheter twice after treatment of bladder cancer. The catheter was worse than the operation. I'd do almost anything to avoid it - having said that, I do love circumcised cocks!

Well as in Many other discussions around here, there will be those who Love "Cut" and those who Love "Uncut"!

Myself being Cut and liking the Look of a Beautiful Mushroom Head without the Extra Hanging Hood..I can understand Making The Dick as Pretty as Possible, not looking like a Plain Old Plastic Dildo! LOL

But unless for Med Reason's, is the Major Discomfort and who knows what possible complications (nothing is guaranteed) going to be really worth it?

IMHO of course...:p :P :p

A very good friend of mine did it when he was 37 for limited foreskin reason. His erection was always a bit painful and would "strangle" the head of his penis.

It was a Day-Hospital precedure (urologist of course) and I sort of assisted him during the healing period, he was a bit unconfortable for a few days but really nothing terrible, not even major pain as I had thought.

After 3 years he is happier than before!

I've known two friends who had it done as adults, one at 24 (to please his lover) and the other at 75 (for a medical condition). Both found it fairly painful and neither seemed very happy with the result. Since it is not reversible, and it sounds like this is a voluntary operation, I hope you get more than one professional opinion before you proceed.

When I was a baby and a little boy, my sister would bathe me and always say pull your skin back when you wash. I have followed that advice my whole life and when I have an erection my skin goes all the way back giving the look of a circumcised cock without the scar one acquires when being cut. I once had a lover whose penis had been so tightly cut that it took him a painful amount of time to finally have an ejaculation. I am grateful that I wasn't subjected to what I consider a barbaric practice. As for my personal tastes, I have no prejudice about cut or uncut. I have never had a bad experience with uncut men, meaning a hood that did not go all the way back or an unclean cock. As for being cut as an adult, at least you can make the decision for yourself. An infant doesn't have that choice when the parents choose circumcision.

I'm totally with you on "loving circumcised cocks" - the bigger, thicker head on them, the better!!
