A response to the text is appropriate. There's no way you don't see the text if you are looking at your phone. Just say..."I'm busy' or "Thanks for the inquiry, but not interested". Is that too much to ask for? Unanswered text are rude.

Contrary to belief, escorts do have functioning lives outside of answering ones text about getting fucked (or sucked). Mind blowing, I know. It’s not always about you and and your personal need to get off. An unanswered text is no reason to get “butt hurt.” An escort is entitled to decline service or not respond; everyone has different business practices. If the escort responded “no”, “fuck you”, “I’m busy” or “I don’t take clients who are 60 and overweight” ...the client still would’ve been frustrated. You can’t please everyone.

 

If you have time to create a post on a forum based on assumptions, you have time to actively search for another provider. Period.

Just for clarification, “available now” does not mean quick replies via text. It means we are available anywhere from a window of 1-6 hours (which we are able to choose from a drop down menu). It does not mean we are waiting for your text, or a client or available to come to you “right now.” It means, within that window, we are able to work if not already preoccupied.

You’re projecting. I didn’t create a post out of frustration nor get upset about an unanswered text.

It’s also rude as hell for clients to not respond after you’ve followed up with them. Additionally, we are able to reach out to clients who have viewed us, and they don’t always reply either. But you don’t hear anyone weeping about it on the forum. It’s the nature of the territory you’re navigating. I would encourage you and the OP to grow thicker skin and not be so emotionally dependent on a text. The rentmen catalog is HUGE. There are so many men readily available and swift with the replies.

 

You could also, idk....pick up the phone and call a potential provider if you were THAT adamant on meeting him.

I'm not an escort so I'm not commenting on their incoming messages of various sorts, but about mine. I never miss a text because I get about one a week that isn't a notice from a bank, phone company or similar. But I do receive enough e-mail for me to miss things in sorting through it. I can only imagine that escorts would receive enough texts and e-mails for them to miss some requests, and that's before considering any filtering that their devices do or network glitches.
