To this man who call himself Daddy:

I did not participate in the initial Benjamin Nicholas debacle in any manner other than to read some of the posts. However, after today, I must ask some questions: Why did you revive BN's blog on this site? Are you attempting to rub this guy in our face? After all the harsh posting that has taken place here for the last month, why did you do this? Do you have a special relationship with this guy? Could you not have just let this issue go away? This really is an unnecessary affront to many who enjoy this place on the web.

And, before I get jumped on for questioning "Daddy", who some of you think is a god, let me say that we all hang out here in various degrees. So, it is my feeling that we have a right to question what our great moderator does.

RE: Daddy & Benjamin Nicholas

You may think you have a right to ask anyone any question but that does not mean you are entitled to an answer. Unless you pay for a service and pay for a right to be here, I'd probably say that most questions fall into the "none of your business" category, with all due respect.

Even if you pay for a service, many business owners reserve the right to remain silent when responding to any query. Ultimately, it's up to the person with whom you addressed your question to decide how he wishes to respond.

Frankly, if you do not like the owner's preferences, you do maintain the right to leave or stay and ignore the link. It really is that simple (although others often prefer to be VERY dramatic regarding anything having to do with Benjamin Nicholas).

"After all the harsh posting that has taken place"

I would be careful not to judge a book by its cover. Much of the screaming comes from and is stirred by hateful trolls with a very specific agenda. Last I heard one of the wicked witches is dead. It is a FACT, that several of these trolls post under more than one name, using more than one IP address.

Yes, maybe 20, or so, legit MC members who post may not care much for Benjamin Nicholas and they certainly may have legitimate, honorable reasons. That doesn't mean they control Daddy or other board-making decisions. IT ALSO DOESN'T MEAN THEIR OPINION IS THE OPINION OF THE MAJORITY.

I would be content to see Tom Isern banned because I think his arrogance and contempt is a slap to all escorts who take the act of pleasuring clients seriously. But instead of calling for Issey to be banned, I choose to ignore him (most times) and I respect Daddy's generous decision to permit all assholes an opportunity to express themselves.

I don't think Daddy is a God but, judging by his emails to me, many in this small realm of escort reviewing/blogging blabber, underestimate his intelligence, his manners, his sincerity, his generosity, and his VERY fair play. Of ALL the folks who contribute here, including me, he's the least judgmental of anyone.

Daddy and this site remain a good thing. :-)

Daddy runs this site as a business, and he has apparently concluded that it makes business sense to continue the link to the blog. That doesn't mean he endorses what Ben says on it, or that he actively encourages us to read it--thank god! Those of us who participate in the message center don't contribute in any way to the financial viability of the site, so I don't think we are in a position to tell Daddy how to run it. (In the early days, some of us did contribute money to Hooboy to keep the site going, and then I didn't hesitate to give him advice about it, but Daddy has never asked us for a cent.) Although I wonder where RockHard gets his stats on how many "legit" posters have negative feelings about Ben, there certainly are visitors to the site who want to read his blog; if you are not one of them, just ignore it, as I ignore it and all the other links in which I have no interest.

Well, given how difficult it is to define "legit" in these here parts, I did my best not to pull that number directly from my ass. But, honestly, if you do a quick perusal of the usernames who yell and scream, it's pretty much the same tired group who mostly show up for the feeding and the majority of them basically say the same thing. So 20-or-so works for me, especially if you deduct the trolls who pose as legit.

Is Ben the only blogger for whom Daddy provides a link? Would Daddy link my blog if I started one?

"Link my blog"...Sounds fun!

There are links every so often to Scott Adler's blog. To me there are two parts to this site. The primary part is escort reviews, the secondary part is the message center, and then their is of course the various advertisers.

In the ask an escort area, people were talking about the 80/20 theory or principle, and it probably has a relevence to the message board too. Most of the talk would be from probably 20 percent of the people who read the posts, give or take a percent here or there. Then you could break that down more, and use the 80/20 theory about those who post.

I agree with Rockhard, and whether a person likes or dislikes something or someone, it shouldn't have any bearing on what Daddy does.

Ben wrote the last blog he posted, and will continue to write his blog, and if someone has a problem with that then pass it by, just like you would when scanning through TV channels or reading a news paper or magazine.

There are a lot of peole who just read what goes on, in the review part of the site only. I only ventured into this area of the site when, things were being reorganized, and the only thing that worked was the message board. I am quite happy about that, because there are a lot of nice and interesting people who post here.

It's often been said that there is no such thing as bad publicity. People who would never be caught near a gay escort's blog, and perhaps in turn a review site, are now drawn to it. If it brings more traffic, that's a good thing. In the end, it's not about right or wrong, it's about business. From that perspective, it's a good decision.

I am not guilty of stealing other's copyrighted material, if that's what you're saying.

His line is:

IF it doesn't fit, force it.

I said I forced it and it still didn't fit.
