First, as a kid I also used to get worked up over the Sears catalog until I discovered GQ but hey it was the 1970's and I lived in a backwater town.

I think part of the reason porn has become boring (for me) is that everyone looks the same...everyone is overly groomed, unnaturally hairless, with the same 6-pack and same everything else. The only gay porn that excites me is the classic stuff from the 70's and 80's, when there seemed to be more variety and more natural masculinity.

 

Then again, I prefer classic rock to the music of today, classic sitcoms to the TV of today...oh no, I've become that man in the Twilight Zone episode ("Static") where he hates television, so he brings up an old radio from the basement and gets transported back in time.
