I never expect a tip, but its always nice when I check my money hours later and see i got a little extra. Im just appreciative to get hired in the first place and more appreciative that I've had regulars for years now who continue to see me when they can hire anyone else, thats why I'm never a clock watcher and spend way more time than what people hire for, you treat me good, ill treat u even better hehe ;)

Hours later?

I only tip the providers who charge below 200.

Now, no matters their fees, if I am happy with the service I will go out of my way to promote the guys. When they become regulars, I also like giving little gifts now and then (usually more personal than a gift card), and do little extras for them, like picking them up from their airport or hotel if they are coming to my place.

Most times, they show me their appreciation with lots of extra time, as I rarely pay for more than one hour.

200 now a days is a bargain... They have the right to charge what they want but I'm not comfortable when clients bargain the way you and others do. If the price is too high I just move on.

Btw I love to tip taking the guy out to dinner/lunch if he has time. Most of them say yes, I even told them to pick up their phone if someone texts because they're off time.

I gladly tip for each session. And I never do it in a condescending manner. Any other gifts or signs of appreciation are separate. I don't tip out of a sense of "what can I receive from it." Tipping works for me. And based on the comments I've received afterwards, it is graciously appreciated...and is graciously remembered. :)

A good bottle of wine for example. I know an escort who saves the pricey ones to regift them later

I give my masseur a big tip at Christmas. (Money, not that other kind of tip :-) )

I do it to let him know how much he contributed to my happiness and health that year. And I do it all in one big payment, rather than stagger the tips throughout the year, so it's something he can count on, at a time we all need more money, the end of the year.

And that way he never has to have that voice in his head that says, "he tipped $20 to me last time, but only $10 or not at all this time, did I do something wrong?"

If they are overly generous with their time, go beyond the ordinary (i.e. pick me up at the airport or drive an hour to meet me), or charge very reasonable rates (ie. 200 hour). Not so much with the premium rate guys and definitely not when they demand or feel entitled to one (yes it has happened).

After trying various tipping strategies - if they go above and beyond, tipping regulars, telling guys I have extra for tips (crass I know) - I’ve settled on the opinion that it’s a bad idea.

If we agreed a fair price in advance - which these days is about 300 an hour - then that’s more than sufficient compensation.

I like to tip. And generally prepare myself to do so before the session begins.

(These days, it's usually in the ballpark of 13%, depending on the gent's hourly fee.)

Mostly, I slide the tip into the compensation packet after the session, while the gent is freshening up and/or dressing to leave.

In the post-meeting exchange of courtesy texts, some gents note and express their appreciation for the bonus. Some do not.
