I agree with most of this. However, rentmasseur lists 3 types of massage and if the masseur checks more than the therapeutic box and charges over $120, some expectations become legitimate. And legitimately discussed here.

 

Services are subject to much higher variability than manufacturing, and one can have a disappointing meal at a very expensive and usually excellent restaurant. Massage is even riskier as so much depends on the chemistry between two individuals. Yet, it's totally legit to share info about what usually comes with the service.

 

I don't necessarily expect or even want a HE. What's the point if the vibe is not there? But I go for masseurs who check all 3 boxes and are willing to be naked with me and lightly touched.
