Escort Information and FACEBOOK?

As a frequent client of Rentmen I often end up with escort contact numbers in my cell phone. I've noticed that once the number is entered in my phone the escorts "real" identity is frequently revealed as a "Recommended Friend" in my Facebook app. Somehow, my contacts, Messenger, and Facebook share the phone information linking accounts by telephone number.

 

I don't have a problem with this, except I'm sure some of these guys would prefer their true identity to be kept private. Amazing how many of the escorts live "normal" lives outside of their side profession.

 

Any thoughts?

You might want to drop them a line so they can change their security settings on FB, though come to think of it I'm not sure they can do anything about it on their end...

It's a bit of double-edge sword.

 

If you have your phone number in your account- used to turn on FBs two-factor authentication- you're at risk for popping up in this 'known associate' searches. If you remove your mobile number, you can't use two-factor.

 

My advice is to never upload your contacts to Facebook, remove all mobile numbers and use nonsense passwords that combine a wide variety of letters, numbers and symbols.

Well we are “normal” people, after all.

 

Avid social media users know that once a contact is input in your phone book, the connection will be made on Facebook, Instagram unless you opt out in settings. It’s super awkward when all your hook-ups appear in “Peope You May Know.”

 

..but in regard to escorting, I don’t really mind clients stumbling upon my Facebook. It’s limited visibility so you can’t see much anyway. Most people plan accordingly in case their work, a client, etc find their profile.

People lead normal lives especially in large cities like New York. One can earn money as a male model and escort as well. Years again I scheduled an appointment for Sunday night with a favorite.

 

He called to cancel because he returned that day from Europe and was exhausted. I never hired him again, but only because I was not in New York City much that summer.

 

I did appreciate his honest phone call.
