Why say 300 roses? Is a turn off for me when an escort uses that euphemism. :( Am I alone?

I can tolerate 'donation'. But roses...

It’s a rather dated way to be discreet. Not sure why it’s a “turn off.” Care to elaborate?

Funny you bring that up, as I was recently updating my contacts, and deleted a guy who had a personal webpage using the roses as payment metaphor. I can't imagine what he would do if I actually took it literally and blocked by face at the door with bushels of flowers! (The number was currently out of service).

I picture more of a big wagon behind you so they are not initially visible.

I would imagine it’s the equivalent to the younger escorts in Europe now using a diamond emoji to signify they are “available for hire.” But I know in the United States that emoji doesn’t mean the same thing. So, careful.

Roses (and rose emojis in profiles) are still quite common on Grindr

Interesting. I’ve never tried Grindr or the other apps. I always assumed I was too old. After 50, it seems you become The Invisible Man!

I’m a decade+ older than you. I’m Confident in my look and my persona. A high degree of tolerance for rejection helps, but I use Grindr quite successfully.

As a bisexual how successful are you on tinder?

300 roses would cost anywhere from $325 to $425, depending on which retailer you bought them from. Trader Joe's recently had them for $12.99/dozen and Target for $16.99/dozen.
