Why do some guys say "ask me" for orientation? Seems like a reasonable thing for them to say what they are.

Before the usual suspects rush in to say they would never respond to an ad that says this, some guys think it gets them more contacts and arguably, they are in a better position to know. One guy told me he listed this way as a conversation starter (he was gay gay gay).

Definitely both straight and gay list as bisexual to get clients looking for gay and for straight. You declare as either and you lose a large share of the market. I guess "ask me" let's them find from you what you want and pander to that.

I admit that I don't hire anyone who lists "straight" orientation on the basis that if they're really turned off by my gender, it's not gonna be fun. I know the idea of sex with a straight man turns some guys on, so it's part of a specific fantasy, just not mine. "Bi" generally means gay I think especially for those guys from cultures where they can't quite admit "gay." Or as pointed out for "ask", that they just want to keep all the doors open for clients. I'm ok with hiring bi or ask, but not straight.

WHATEVER YOU DO - do not ask when a guy says "ask me." You will get your card revoked AND a red checkmark in your permanent file. Yes, I said your PERMANENT file!

 

Of course, I am being facetious. There are as many answers as there are escorts and clients. I ask, unless something else in the ad is unappealing in which case I lose interest.

My feeling is if they are willing to do what I like to do then it doesn't matter what they put there.
