I am planning an overnight and wondered what the protocol would be for leaving a key at the front desk of the hotel. Do you just tell the front desk the name of the escort coming and tell them they can pick up the key?

I usually put the key card in an envelope and leave it with the concierge desk (as opposed to the front desk which can get really busy at times and are usually staffed by less experienced staff) under the agreed name. Have not had problems. I usually put my name and mobile number in the "from" box in case any questions are raised. Please note that it is customary to tip the concierge here in the USA.

If you leave the name of the escort with the front desk for him to pick up a room key, it would get awkward if they ask him for some ID? His escort name and real name (which would be on his ID) are almost certain to be different.

True. But, for my regular, i have his civilian name as i"ve had to book his flights.

I recently spent two days/nights on Las Vegas strip with Peter Hung. I had no second thoughts on getting a second key for him while at Cosmo because of his excellent reputation. In Raleigh Another well known provider had driven all day to spend the night. The next morning at breakfast it was obvious he was still whipped - I let him keep the room until noon while I worked hotel trade show. All worked out well.

However when I engage unknown providers - I am cautious to know where abouts of the key card and am uneasy to let them hang on to the room when I leave.

I’m curious... Did you ask the escort about this beforehand? If not, how about you ask the escort what works best for him in this regard? It’s easier sometimes just to ask the escort in question instead of guessing/trying to figure out from forum members what he wants.

Multiple times when I did weekends both the escort and I were flying in from somewhere else. Sometimes he'd be arriving first. I'd put his name on the reservation. I guess he'd usually have to give a credit card. But we'd always change to mine once I arrived. This of course happened with escorts who had been with me before and trusted me. If it was someone I hadn't met before, I think we always checked in together. And it was at that point that we put the escort's name on the reservation, in case he lost a key.

I’ve done this several times. When an escort did not do incalls, I had asked him to get a room and I’d reimburse. That way, he can use the room to see other clients after my session. My name won’t be associated with the hotel booking.

It takes a bit (or a lot) of trust but it has worked for me. There were times that we met in the parking lot and I handed cash to book the room.
