Most strip clubs have an "Amateur Night" to try out and recruit new talent. Also from what I've seen, interested men just walk in like any other patron, and if they like the place and the vibe they ask any person working there, (usually the bartender or DJ knows) who the manager is or to whom they should direct their enquiry. After that they just go up to the person, introduce themselves and they'll be told. I've seen guys walk in from the street and within the hour stripping and making money!

I'll second the amateur nights. Also (and my info here is a little out of date and based on my experiences on the west coast and not the mid-west), there's a good chance at most places that if you show up, look good, and promise that you can keep a hard on in a crowd, the manager will let you audition that night. As someone who once went from civilian-off-the-street to stripper-making-money in less than an hour, I can confirm that Bearman speaks the truth about the process.

 

The only drawback here is that at most places, you most likely will not be making enough money to make it worth a long drive much less a plane trip. Even if your home bar doesn't have any male strip clubs, I bet there's still a market for bachelorette parties and the like. As to how to get connected with them, I haven't the foggiest. Like latbear4blk above says, maybe twitter? Or maybe search twitter for the type of event host who needs muscle strippers on call.

My understanding is that typically the stripping is advertising for the escort work as opposed to a source of income in its own right, though there are some who only strip and do that as a supplement to a typical 9-5 job. Like you might not make a whole lot in the bar, but you meet a couple of people who become clients outside. Particularly places like Adonis where there are often nearly as many dancers as patrons in the venue, and some of those patrons not actually spending much money.

I think Secrets too, though they are a little different from other strip clubs. Totally nude dancing, but no lap dances. So it’s all tips. The good dancers do well I’ve heard. They also get after-hours work You also get an hourly pay - DC requirement. Other clubs charge the dancers to perform, like the ones in FtL. Good luck.
