Hey Boys;

Just want to alert those of you that post on Craig's List in Las Vegas that I was busted the other night at MGM Grand.....

This had the makings of the "perfect call"....name, room & hotel checked.....I was even brough up to the room by the guy who called & told me he "loved my ass & wanted to eat it like a woman's pussy"....

Once in the hallway, he told me he "had only done this once or twice before".....& asked me if I wanted to be paid before or after..I pushed off the question & said "we can deal with that later, let's just hang out"...next thing I knew I was up aganist a wall being told I was being arrrested for "soliciting prostitution in Clark County"...

I was then taken into the bathroom of the hotel room with 7 other female hookers...(and I mean HOOKERS)...

We were all brought down to the country jail...where I spent 15 hours before being released on my own recognizence...

For my fellow workers in Vegas....BE EXTRA CAREFUL.......if it happened to me..............

I think it would be helpful to ALL of us if anyone else who has been busted could share their experience......

I DO NOT know Ace but I have seen his Las Vegas ad on rentboy for the last year or so. I do, however, KNOW that what he claims happened to him has happened to other escorts including one I DO know. About two months ago the Los Angeles Times did a series of articles about the incredibly corrupt justice system in Sin City. If one ends up in court in Vegas it behooves one to have a lawyer who has contributed generously to the campaigns of as many judges as possible. Anytime I read that an escort is planning a visit to Las Vegas I hold my breath. LAS VEGAS MAY BE A FUN TOWN BUT IT IS NOT A NICE TOWN!!!!!

>this is a little strange I must say. This poster became a

>member yesterday (Sept 19, 2006) and is already posting that

>he's been arrested?

How long does one need to be a member before they can be arrested? :+

Ace: we don't work in Vegas but thanks for the heads up anyway and sorry you got stung.

I hope that you'll be able to get out of this ok, Ace.

If you're found guilty, will you have to register as a sex offender? I hope not. Get a good lawyer. By what you wrote, it seems like you didn't say anything about sex during the whole incident.

Does anyone know if an escort would have to register as a sex offender in this situation?

Is the same true for a customer?

I'm curious because didn't the escort Bryan Young have to register as a sex offender after a sting?

What's that saying? Something like "it's the only town where you can arrive in a $50,000 Cadillac and leave in a $250,000 Greyhound".

Ace, I'm very sorry this happened to you, but THANK YOU for posting the heads up!

What it is saying deej is that although many people seem to enjoy the gambling, the shows and the glitter of Las Vegas it is NOT a town one EVER wants to run afoul of its incredibly corrupt police and judical systems. In the last few years major crime has skyrocketed in Vegas yet the police are obsessed with setting up prostitution sting operations. For someone who gets arrested it is relatively easy to beat the charges as long as he or she is able to pay for an attorney WHO IS WELL CONNECTED!!!

Ace thanks for the heads up. I hope you can beat the charges. This definately makes me think twice and maybe three times about posting my travel plans to Vegas later this year. Really though it was only a matter of time before the police targeted us guys.

Ace,

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. The L.A. Times has been keeping an eye on justice "Vegas style."

Oh, and if it makes a difference, if I were to hire someone in Vegas, you'd be the one! I think you're hot - with the long hair and body hair! mmmmmmm

Sorry, got carried away there!

Best,

Damn right! They certainly have their priorities straight. It makes so much more sense to bust someone for sucking a cop for $$$ than trying to find those pesky terrorists who might just blow up the whole town.

ACE..Unfortunate situation indeed! Hope you get a Connected Lawyer!

There have been various reports on just how you have to "Work It" with the Judicial System in Vegas, Unfortunately...

The Guy's "Working It" in Major Markets NYC-Chicago-LA-Miami don't realize how Lucky they are, and do take this whole "Working Guy" easy $$ for granted! Especially the Old Pro's... LOL

Site's like Rentboy, could make it like "Shooting Fish in a Barrel"! IMHO of course

Las Vegas has been corrupt since Bugsy Segal founded it 60 years ago so what's the surprise? BTW the real Bugsy was nowhere near as sympatico as the portrayal given by Warren Beatty in that sugar coated film. He was a nasty piece of work. I have never seen what the point of visiting LV was since it is a garish, phoney, ersatz piece of real estate in a god-forbidden desert. I understand the need for some people to gamble but there are nicer places, like Monte Carlo or Divonne, France. Oh well, each to his own.

So sorry to hear about this, and I hope all is well with you. Having been to Las Vegas many times, I am always amazed at the amount of time and energy devoted to promoting and selling sex of every conceivable kind, especially on those endless magazine racks outisde most hotels. Even more ridiculous, sex workers are acceptable and legal in most of Nevada, except not in Clark County, where LV is. For a place that sells sex as vigorously as LV, it is amazing that there are so few respectable professional working boys. Which is why the good ones deserve our support and respect. It seems a no-brainer that the LV police would have something better to do with their time. Or is somebody up for re-election??

Hey Guys;

Let me FIRST thank all of you for the support & kind words.....It's all under control & will be dismissed. What I really think would be helpful is for other escorts to post their experiences with being arrested (or nearly) so we all have a "frame of reference"{ to keep in mind...(What site were you found on, the conversation BOTH on the phone & in person...., etc)..

I'll let you guys know the outcome....my court date is a month away.....(I don't have to appear, which should illustrate what a "non-issue" the charge really is...

All the best;

Ace

I'm wondering too about having to register as a sex offender issue. Any answers? What if you're a client who gets arrested?
