Codeine

I was wondering if anyone knows the side effects of codeine (for example in prescribed cough syrup) on the ability to ejaculate. Thanks.

I would think it would inhibit ejaculation. Codeine is really a foul drug-constipation, nausea, dry mouth. They're using it more because it is an unpleasant drug to take-less possibility of addiction.

Thanks. I was not thinking permanent damage but just during the time that you are taking the med or shortly thereafter.

That may be more a case of jonsing for the ingredients no matter what the concentration. A good example of this is ppl living with an alcohol dependency sometimes drink NyQuil or even baking extracts because they contain alcohol, albeit in very small quantities. It's the fact that it has alcohol in it more than it has a satisfying quantity. But I could be wrong; addiction is a mystery to me; unless it's sex addiction, which is a pleasure to me.
