so, I’m wondering what the general feeling is- is there any correlation between good escorts and good porn stars (not used in the rentmen way, but guys who have made porn)?

 

My general inclination is that the 2 are not related, some are good at both, some better to watch on screen than in person. But curious about others’ experiences.

 

I have met 3 or 4 guys who have some filmography to their credit- and all were good (so that argues against my initial thesis).

many here have met providers who are also adult-video stars......and the topic of a correlation between the two has been discussed periodically for many years....

 

the consensus is that there is no relationship between a good adult-film star also being a good provider......

As you surmised and @azdr0710 backed up there is no relation in being a great provider and being a great porn actor. It just comes down to how great the individual is at having sex... not whether he acts in porn.

 

I have hired a fair number of guys who have done some level of porn. Most have been great experiences. The same can be said for the guys who have never did any form of porn. My worse experience ever was with a guy who was a minor porn star. Many of the best experiences I’ve had the guy(s) wasn’t a porn actor.

 

Hoss seems like a fun guy all around. If he interests you, go get him. Don’t be worried/bothered that the experience will be good or bad just because he does porn. That’s setting up roadblocks to the experience from the get go.

 

How good or bad he is with you depends on chemistry and how well you treat each other... not whether he has done porn.

Porn and escorting are two different -- but related -- sets of skills.

 

Porn is about performing for the camera. When filming porn, you sometimes have to feign having more fun than you actually are. Some guys are more vocal, etc., than they would be "in real life." It's more important to look good than to fuck well, in a sense.

 

Escorting is about connection with and giving pleasure to/having pleasure with the person who hired you. You're essentially "performing" for a person.

Sure, there are escorts who perform for you with talent, those are the 3 and 4 stars guys. A five stars escort does not put up any show at all, he just dive with you into the experience.

Porn stars in reality are not as much fun. I met one, and he had very different look and feel than how he appeared in his movies. Camera adds pounds and make up adds glamor. The person who arrived at the door looked like an emaciated meth head.

 

Porn and escort are both fantasies. But the escort one has participants in flesh and blood .. so has more realism element.

One of my worst experiences was about a year ago. Porn "bottom" that basically said he was a power bottom in his add. Went to dinner to cut the ice then back to his room for fun. When it got down to the "do the do", he claimed having a good time and junior seemed to be as well. He stated that he had a porn scene the next day and didnt want to be sore for that scene, so no fun was had as to his claimed ad.

 

Left afterwards and he text me thanking me and hoping I had a good time. I told him in a respectful way that I felt sort of denied as to his stated ad. I should have brought it up before hand I know, but when power bottom is stated in the ad it's generally assumed they are good to go. About a week later I saw his ad in another city and tried to open it up yet was blocked. Diva status I guess. From that point forward I have been hiring straight escorts. Some better than others but I have not left with any of them the way I did with this gay "porn star".

I’ve had good luck in general hiring porn *performers* (come on, “stars”? Nope)

 

Same vetting as I would any other escort. One of my best ever came from porn, and one of my most disappointing. So yeah.....same as hiring plain non performer escorts.
