Not being much into webmastering and the like, I was quite surprised to learn from another thread that Benjamin Nicholas says his blog is "pulling well over 100,000 hits a week". I had no idea it was that popular.

That leads me to wonder how it racks up against other sites and other blogs. How does one learn how many hits a site gets? How many hits does this site get?

Add more zeroes and limit the timeframe to an hour.

 

100k/week doesn't even come close to the message center weekly hit count (closer to the daily count), and that's consistently less than 10% of this site's traffic.

 

Not bad at all for a personal blog, though! I know some tech blogs that get a lot more traffic but, well, those are nerds and there are betas in progress! ;-)

 

100K/week for a personal blog is respectable.

I believe the more accurate number of hits to BN's blog is

2,300,000,000,500,000,000,000,000,000, weekly. See! Anyone can print a number.

According to the site linked below, the blog that ranks #250 only gets 30,000 visits per week. Ben's blog is not listed here, but I don't know how this site tallied the blogs. No matter what, blogs are getting really popular with thousands of new ones created every day.
