I begin this with the utmost cynicism ...

But yes, I now have a blog for all to derive pleasure, defile, and discuss.

The cause you ask? BG brought up the topic in the HooVille travelers section to keep up with my Euro-extravaganza over the next month. I've never done one in the past because of time constraints but at the moment I have nothing but time so weeeeeeeeeeeee.

I tend to prefer to live my life than write about it so I'm unsure how long I'll keep up with it but I hope all involved (including myself) enjoy it while it lasts.

So without much further ado ...

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the TOP TEN! Especially # FOR.

Don't kid yourself and DON'T let anyone else tell you differently: GRATUITOUS NUDITY is one damn good reason to check in every now and again. There is NOTHING more generous than a favorite guy sharing more intimate outakes from real life. And there is no greater form of incentive to buy, buy, buy.

Good luck with your endeavor. :-)

ps Rico will be so busy now he won't know which blog to tackle first. I hope this doesn't cause him to slack on the x-vids. Those are the most entertaining of all.

pps Spellcheck can't help with for/four because "for" is a word. I can't wait for someone to create software that instantly fixes malapropisms and knows precisely what word the author meant to use. Just thinking about it gets my dick hard. Different strokes for...

15 Minutes...

...OK, not EVEN fifteen minutes in Paris and I already got snubbed by a stewardess of all people. I mean the woman is in her late 50s and flying across the Atlantic serving warm nuts … what the hell?

We landed after a delightful flight on AirFrance … I wanted Virgin but was actually pleasantly surprised with the reclining soft leather seats and overall experience. So as we landed at Charles De Gaulle, or as I’m now calling it “A Long Haul,” and were waiting for the ok to open the plane door when said flight attendant approached me staring at my shirt muttering “Ce qui est.”

Anyone from America would have known who makes the shirt right away but I figured, eh, it’s ok and explained, “Abercrombie and Fitch.” A nearby flight attendant of the homosexual persuasion translated “Abercrombie” with the appropriate syllable accents and she “got it.”

“Oh, so sorry. You know, here in France all we do is Chanel and Dior so it is of course my loss,” with a sly grin.

BITCH

The door began to open and I started walking toward her to get off the plane, LV carry-on in tow.

“Do you know Vuitton?” I replied as I approached her.

She repeated my apparently not French enough pronunciation as I rolled my carry-on OVER her Chanel pump.

“OH. VUITTON!” she half screamed wincing in a more convincing articulation of the word. She smiled back at me. Apparently I earned her respect.

Unfortunately leaving at 6 PM from JFK puts you in Paris at 7:15 am which is around midnight back home. So I should be STARTING my day here but unfortunately I’m sure that by the time I get checked into the hotel and post this I’ll be ready to pass out. I refuse to lose a day here but I have no doubt in my mind the beds at the George V will be impossible to get out of once I’m in one.

Reflections on NYC and STL to come. Have the Queens in Queens gotten their power back?

Sooooo superficial... YAWN

Sounds like my first few hours in Europe in 1972.

I am sure you have realized by now that a smile and few French words make friends very quickly, even if it's just "Bonjour, Madame".

Yes darling. You'll note my apology at the bottom of the latest post because I want to LIVE my life instead of writing about it. I'm taking notes. I'll probably get the New York post out tonight since it's cloudy at best here in Nice at the moment.

"Regardless, tonight is my last night in Paris and I really am sad but don’t think I could have been more satisfied with the trip. I did Paris in a unique way that most Americans wouldn’t (and couldn’t) even DREAM of doing."

That's more personal information than we get in several months of the other fella's blog, which has become a discussion of various upscale airlines and hotels.

Scott's strong points include his honesty and discussion of

aspects of his life in making points here. So far the blog (obviously a work in progress) does have a phoned in quality.

I'm enjoying the writing Scott :)

You've got a really nice flow in how you type. It's conversational, but doesn't have any of the stoic trappings that most people have when they write off-the-cuff.

I'm sure that some on here will take any opportunity possible to compare our blogs, but luckily we have two very distinct ways of putting pen-to-paper. With writing in a public forum, it's more about personal gratification and entertainment value than one-upmanship. You've got a nice flair for one-liners, which makes for an incredibly funny read.

One more piece of advice: Don't listen to those who will ultimately do nothing but bring you down. Writing is completely subjective. You will ALWAYS find an audience that likes what you write without ever having to cater to those who will probably never be happy with what you put across. Find a style and nurture it.

>Blackberry-y'all have filthy minds }(

As if I'd prematurely own a crack-berry before it was required by law ... firm. Thanks for that typing plug Rick. Now people know what I can fall back on if escorting doesn't pan out.

In sadder news ... my blog has some tonight. :(

Well I had received news that my blog updates were going to start getting posted on the main page but since there is no main page I'll just say I posted about two or three new entries last night.

Part of one now seems irrelevant because magically the focus of the response seems to have dissapeared. ;)
