Since not many people venture there anymore, I thought it might be of some interest for a few here to know that a gay website has bit the dust. Known as "Escortspeak", the site was actually banned for illegal activity:

Thanks for the update. I, too, am afraid that we'll probably see some of the guys coming here again. Guess it's time to buckle up and hang on for the ride. x(

 

But, I know of a couple other sites on that board that have been closed for TOS violations in the past couple of weeks. One of them was a site that posted YouTube and similar videos of gay interest. I "suspect" their illegal activity was copyright violations.

 

Didn't EscortSpeak have a picture section and couldn't their lock down be a result of copyright complaints? I haven't been to the site since shortly after it opened. But, I'm not ready to assume they did something more serious than that.

I doubt it. Getting EZBoard to move on copyright infringement takes an army of lawyers, a marching band, and a virgin sacrifice. (An infantry brigade helps too.)

 

They're much more proactive about personal information, harassment, and stalking. If I was guessing (and I am), I'd say somebody probably finally pushed a personal vendetta too far. Possibly even someone who'd previously been banned by EZBoard twice for activities on the same board. But I'm just guessing.

I am sure those industrious gals will find another vehicle of expression for themselves on the Internet. They really don't waste time as below is a picture of their strategy meeting held immediately after the death of Escort Speak. Dare we name those present in the picture?

Kind of ambivalent here. Never looked at it, never wanted to. but it seems that it did provide a place for unhappy people to flock and rage at each other which kept them out of here (along with a few judicious tosses from the mod squad).

 

Maybe they will convince the magician with the cards to start another one. Really, from what I have heard about it's demise, many of them sound like time travelers from a Steven King novel (Black Tower series)

Never looked at it? You, the guy who posts here and over on MaleEscortReview, lauds the Rico Report, want us to believe that you never once went to escortpeak? Then why do you want them to start another one?

Escortspeak was a playground for the sick twisted minds that these mesage boards seem to attract. Its demise is sad because they will indeed start their crap here (you will notice the "coincidental" return of John Pela) and on malescortreview, which has alread had to delete several posts.
