How do you know he isn’t a guy who has simply identified what he likes in life (sex with older men, like so many escorts) and figured out that he can do his favourite thing, while, at the same time make a lot of money?

 

I have a long series of PMs on this very site, with an 18 yo who contacted me about how he should start escorting.

I tried to dissuade him and he kept coming back with “but I like doing it anyway, why wouldn’t I make money as well?”. Then he proceeded to describe his planned marketing strategy to me (better than most of my 45 yo colleagues at work would ever do) and asked for my thoughts.

 

That is enough evidence for me that some 18 yo do think that way, even though they clearly have other options. This guy had just finished high school, was well supported by his parents, he didn’t really need the money.

 

I am not claiming there are many 18 yo are like this one that contacted me. They probably are only one in a 1000. But those few that are like this, end up naturally on rentmen. He simply may be one of them.

 

If you meet this guy, and discuss it with him and find out he is in trouble, then fair enough. But his age is not enough evidence to claim he had a terrible life and must be doing something he doesn’t want to do, or he didn’t think it through.

 

Because frankly that implies that 35 yo who still escorts also had a terrible life, just a much longer one. I don’t think that is the case.

This is not righteousness or dictating what anyone does on this board with escorts. However, I have an opinion that to hire an 18 year old boy for sex is questionable. He does PNP which means he does drugs. Does he do in calls? If he lives in NYC how's he paying the rent? Is he sharing the space? I would be weary of entrapment. Plus if he's doing drugs then safety would also be an issue. But guys do what you want...
