After reading a lot about it here on the forum, weighing pros and cons with those who have one and those who've decided not to, we launched an OnlyFans page. I'm loading content on it now and it's glitchy, but working well enough. The few paying members we have after 24 hours report finding the content easily accessible. So, the only question now is will enough people care to make it worth the effort. So far, it looks promising. Will keep you posted how it goes if there's any interest in that. I will say that it is nice to be able to send prospective clients there than constantly sending photos and videos for a charge. It's way cheaper for the client's, too. So, hopefully a win win.

I have seen just a few of the only fans/just4fans pages and there seem to be a few common flaws. There are a few where the films are long enough and the perspectives close and varied enough to be satisfying. I am not sure if the sites state exactly how things may or may not be filmed but few that I have seen give the client an entire look at the action. Also it is a common flaw that the sound isn't adequate enough that you can hear the various goings on as they progress. I don't know about you but I have to hear some of what the participants are saying to each other to really get turned on. This would be particularly important with guys like Ace and Tyler where so much of the attraction is their interaction. Lighting is also something that you really have to control. If the client can't see what is going on there's not a point to much of the action. I have seen some scenes where can hardly see that there is anyone in the scene. It was sort of like filming in a hotel room with a low light on. I am sure it is nice for those doing the filming but not those who are watching. Finally, perhaps there should be a way that you find out what you are going to provide. I saw a site where a guy had a butt that was out of this world. I assumed it would be used over time for a lot of stuff beyond just showcasing. But it never was. Of course, there had never been a meeting of the minds to begin with about what was going to be provided but maybe there should have been. Then I would know whether to join or not. I know these are really basic things but as I said they were problems when I watched them. Because they were problems it just meant that I subscribed for one month and never went back.

Yeah you're paying a monthly feee for content the creators choose to upload. There's a comment section for each piece of content (video, photo) uploaded. You could leave suggestions there per se, but in most cases that comes off as a subscriber complaining.

 

My only issue with OF and J4F is there's no preview of the content. So you're buying into something blindly. Some guys are great at posting previews on their Twitter accounts (Austin Wolf, BigCMen/Jared Grey) but most times it's a guessing game.

You make great points. And you point out some challenges of this format vs a staged studio shoot. We don’t have a buddy to come over and film us when we start the action...nor would we want that. So, that leads to preset filming devices that have to be set far enough away to get the scene but still with some perspective for the viewer. It’s truly amateur. While that may be a turn on for some, studio Porn will always have a place just for the sheer production value.

Well, that’s why we’ve done this honestly. Being in such a remote part of the country precludes us from making good connections with potential clients where they are. It’s also a way for potential clients to see what we are like in “real life” before hiring us. We ain’t cheap!

 

So, yes, it’ll be what you’re saying. It’s a small enough community there that we can take requests and make them happen. One client has already asked for an underwear show. Lord knows we have plenty of that to show off. Will be working on that over the weekend for posting. Otherwise, it’s just a look at our sex life on a day-to-day basis. Yeah, I’ve looked at what Austin Wolf and BigC are doing. Geniuses at this form of promotion. I’m trying to do that a little, but it’s super time consuming. I wish I could help you in that arena.
