Here's a new one in the buyer beware category, which never ceases to amaze me in London. I was chatting to one provider the other night who said that if I wanted to book him, I had to, ahem, BUY HIS VIDEOS in advance so I could see what he was offering. I replied that once we met, I would see that for myself. He insisted on this procedure and so that, as they say, was that. I can't imagine anyone actually acceding to his demands but perhaps some people do?  Good luck to them if so. 

I met him when he was visiting Raleigh in August 2021. I came across this thread & decided to post about my experience. He's a pleasant guy when you meet, yet it was not worth the $250 spent. Speaking as a New Yorker, who lives in the city, I think it takes a certain kind of place to draw demand and supply.  America's purtanical past doesn't help, but also a certain appreciation for beauty and willingness to pay, plus means to pay also.

Update:
All is well. My client buddy and I discussed and moved on from what happened. He’s definitely learned from the mistake and cut back all together. I’m just glad things weren’t worse. I didn’t recognize he was spiraling, but I did notice he was consuming quite a bit.
