I can't imagine how incredibly dull it would be to field text messages from so many fake interested parties all day long. Then, everyone is impatient, while nobody wants you to text while you are with them. I'm sure this is the crappiest part of the job. I try to cut the guys a little slack, be succinct and to the point, and hope for the best. If someone is just flat our rude, I'll move on, but that is seldom the case. It's usually just a lot of one-word answers.

I do both, but the water is typically clean on the first flush so it is just a precaution.

1) Why bother? 2) If you live where legality is questionable, you are essentially creating a log of your activity. 3) Many escorts bombard you with threats after a bad review, which is just annoying. 4) I've found the reviews on RM to be less than reliable; however, measuring positive reviews over time seems like a better indicator. For example, a provider for 5 years with 3 reviews is automatically a red flag whereas a provider with 6 months and already 25 reviews is a good sign.

For some reason, high rates and poor service seem to go hand in hand, so I would pass.

For whatever reason, any time I pay $350 I'm disappointed. The best providers seem to be in the $250-$300 range. You get what you pay for does not seem to apply here.

I suspect you need to let go of the idea that you are undesirable. Fat, skinny, old, young, short, tall… there is someone for everyone. Even on Grindr you’ll come across younger guys that are looking for 50’s and 60’s or very large guys. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While societal norms make it seem like 25, tan, tall, with abs is the ideal… I don’t care for facial hair which is also in right now. Don’t fall into the trap of believing that only guys that are x get laid. In fact, I invite you to play a game with me. While you are walking around, keep track of how many guys you’re attracted to. For me, it’s like a 1:10 ratio. However, most of them are regularly getting laid by someone who is attracted to them. We need to let go of the notion that you have to be perfect to find any sort of love.

I use a burner phone. I’m not trying to hide, but I like anonymity when dealing with strangers. On occasion I’ve had someone reach out, but I never see it in time and don’t really care one way or the other. I imagine that unexpected texts would get some married guys in trouble. Probably not the best idea.

Legal is becoming a fuzzy matter in the US as various institutions are over-burdened and cherry-pick which laws they will enforce based on local political preferences. SF is a prime example of this where one could argue that shoplifting is not illegal in that it is not currently enforced.

I'm sometimes nervous. Kissing and massage are what work best to calm my nerves. As backwards as it seems, I am usually most comfortable with the guys who are most forward and basically dive right in. You really can't talk me out of nerves when that pops up.
